Even if he is still quite hesitant and very stubborn about openly showing his love, let’s appreciate the fact that he doesn’t deny it at all by this point. Like, If he wanted to say ‘no’ then he could have, but he didn’t. (He’s probably thinking of ways to give an ambiguous answer instead, but we all know how he truly feels…)

what i love about zombie media is that even though you’ve got the terror of the undead, it’s the living and how they react that is the most interesting element if done right. what would you do if your loved one became a monster? how far would you go to protect that person from becoming one? is the true monster not the lurching, creeping, dead thing but the inhumanity that is revealed when we as humans are faced with impossible scenarios? how about how quickly a person loses their humanity as a zombie verses as someone who has to face the zombies? imagine losing the person you love and rely on most to a mysterious illness that takes away their personality, mobile functions, and every other major brain function? what if your child becomes a zombie, how hard would it be to shoot them in the head? so many people write off zombie media as generic and boring or predictable but how could we predict such an fantastical yet realistic force of nature; the very corruption of human nature in a biological and sociological form! i love the genre!!
