Photos show Mankowitz playing dominoes while waiting for filming; the star wore a distinctive white pantsuit with an ornate headdress edged in purple satin.
The footage also shows her then-husband, Richard Burton, wearing a robe, deep in discussion with Joseph Losey, the director of Boom!. Other shots show Taylor, who played wealthy socialite Flora "Cissy" Goforth in the film, wearing an ornate headdress.
Richard Burton appears in several of the shots in the photo book, showing the couple embracing near Westminster on the South Bank in 1963.
They married for the first time a year later.#Elizabeth Taylor #

Rosamond Taylor, known as Liz Taylor, was born in London on February 27, 1932, and died nine years ago in West Hollywood on March 23, 2011.
Her life was spent on the stage. She was an American actress, philanthropist, and fashion designer, considered Hollywood's last true star thanks to her talent and beauty.
She won the Academy Award for Best Actress twice, in 1961 for her role in Venus in Mink and in 1967 for her role in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
She was also very active in charitable work, particularly in the fight against AIDS.
Her relationship with actor Richard Burton, whom she married twice over 14 years, was highly publicized and stormy. In 1974, Burton filmed Il Viaggio with Sophia Loren, directed by Vittorio De Sica. Rumors quickly spread about their relationship, to the point that Loren, it was said at the time, had become a bitter rival of Liz.
On the anniversary of Taylor's death, Umberto Pizzi opens his archives to honor her.#.Elizabeth Taylor #
