Hello, everyone! Let's talk about Central City Summerween! Buckle up, it's going to be a long post!

First, I'm going to shout out @scheherezhad, because she desperately wanted this thing to exist and put so much work into making this a reality!

Second, there I made a collection for CC Summerween here. All the rules posted below are also in the profile on AO3.

Now that all that's out of the way, let's talk about all the fun stuff!

This celebration will last the entire summer, from June 22 to September 22! Any and every type of fanwork is welcome, as long as the Central city inhabitants are the focus.

Please keep in mind that these prompts are meant to be as scary or as silly as you want them to be! This summer, spooky and spoopy is in!

Each week has a different theme that you can use as inspiration, and you can also earn merit badges by creating works during the week that match our merit badge list. (At the end of the summer, you'll get a fun little virtual sash with all the merit badges you managed to complete.)

Week 1 (June 22 to June 28) Ghosts/Ouija Boards/The Other Side

Shadow Creature template for 5e

This is based off the shadow dragon template from the monsters manual. It should increase the challange of the creatures it applied to so go with caution.

Skill Proficiency: Stealth. The creature is proficient in stealth if it wasn’t before and gains double proficiency if it was.

Living Shadow. While in dim light or darkness, the creature has resistance to damage that isn’t magical.

Shadow Stealth. While in dim light or darkness, the creature can take the Hide action as a bonus action.

Light Sensitivity. While in light, the creature has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.

New Action: Shadow attacks. Any unarmed attacks or attacks made with natural weapons deals 1d4 extra necrotic damage. A creature reduced to 0 hit points by this damage dies, and an undead shadow rises from its corpse and acts immediately after the shadow creature in the initiative count.

What types of fanwork? Here's what you can do: Gifsets (6 gifs min), Fanfic (1,000 words min), Fanmix (6 songs + cover min), Fanvid (1 minute long min), Graphics / Fanart, needle art, podfic.

What's the timeline? Signups until July 7 (your time zone is fine), prompts sent around a day or two after that (depending on your time zone), fanworks due SEPTEMBER 10 in the AO3 collection if you're using AO3, and be submitted to Tumblr. If you have a scheduling issue please get in touch with the blog, we can probably work something out. And you will be able to post on the dedicated AO3 collection earlier since it will be kept unrevealed until D-Day !

scarlet johannson did not spend an entire decade fighting tooth and nail to make natasha into an actual character instead of the sex object writers wanted her to be while also having to endure the most vile, misogynistic questions during press tours for people to now disrespect her legacy because yelena is 'better'. the only reason why that is, is because of everything scarlet went through. natasha singlehandedly paved the way for every other female superhero in the mcu and don't you forget that

Imagine Shawn walking confidently into the precinct wearing an incredibly tight crop top and short shorts (it’s for a case, ofc). Gus pretends not to know him, Lassiter does a spit take, Juliet has to look twice to make sure she’s seeing what she thinks she’s seeing, and Chief Vick just sighs and raises a singular eyebrow at Shawn.
