"Are you watching to see if I'm going to steal something? I've been in here before, I know the rules."

“You have a lot of nerve just walking into Seto’s office like you know him or something.”

The more he stared at Mana, the more his confidence plummeted.

After a moment. “Kisara gets the date, Timaeus can have a kiss and I would love to spar against Red. I don’t think there’s a chance of being babied in that fight.”

Mana's favorite movie? (If she has one... also mun's favorite movie?)

(DMG) Mana’s experience of television and films is rather limited to what other people want to watch. She’s watched so much Twilight Zone thanks to a certain Star… but she doesn’t end up paying so much attention since she’s usually with someone else and enjoying their reaction to a film. She’d probably say something cheesy like ‘the film of life’ to annoy someone who asked.

Kurosawa Mana’s always been a fan of romantasy and feel-good endings to those kinds of dramas. Especially given that she knows so many people around the world, that gives her a lot of options. Some of her favourites of all time, especially when she’s sick is Wings of Desire, and Ever After. Big Fish is another one in the top list.

(As for me, I love the Star Wars films, and Ghibli… hands down will always wanna watch Howl’s Moving Castle or Laputa. Absolutely loving the hell out of the Tim Burton Batman films too)

I tend to favour short dash-watch replies simply because this is sometimes a lot easier, but I am happy to do lengthy replies and long story-type plots. This does take time, however, so I understand if that’s not okay.

Further with the point above, this also means that in general, unless someone has come to me, I will generally have no idea what's going on drama-wise. I don't have the time to sit on the dash and analyse, and I very much am outside of a lot of private conversations and communities. I just float along in my little bubble and slowly reply to people. If you have any concerns about a situation, my door is always open as a friendly ear or a sounding board, or even if you want to let me know if you think it could be relevant, but to be frank: I don't really want to be involved in general drama if I can help it and I will not take sides unless I know what's happening.

Why are you on the fence about ocs?

It’s not at all that I don’t want to rp with oc characters, it’s just that specific inclusion that I have italicised that I can be on the fence on.

I love original characters, I love how creatively they can weave in with fandoms.

But I have had issues in the past (a long time ago lol) with a person’s pre-established OC was always here canon that contradicted my character’s. And it became a problem because it was their canon. That person became nasty when I tried to offer compromise or if I ‘got it wrong’, and then tried to force a narrative that they wanted, and in the way they wanted it. Because it was their canon. And it wasn’t even written in their about.

All in all, it wasn’t a fun experience and it turned me off of that entirely. Now it’s been about a decade, and I have faith that maybe people are going to be better about that kind of thing. But I am hesitant. Not uninterested, not by any means. But I will be hesitant and watch for a little bit to learn :)
