An Act of Love
#4
The story started with the climax, the abduction, where Sita run away with Lawana. Sita was set free by Lawana but she decided to stay so that she can warned her husband Rama of Lawana’s deceitful plan. As act of a loving husband Rama together with Lacsama and their allies attacked Lawana’s territory. Lawana believes that he will defeat Rama because of his extraordinary power. The battle started and everyone is trying its best to win the battle, and indeed Lawana was killed by Rama using his sword. Rama won the battle and Sita was released. Rama not knowing of Sita’s sacrifices doubted his wife’s faithfulness and to proved its fidelity to him, he challenges Sita to walk through a pyre. The witnesses didn’t saw Sita burned and alive yet they believe that Sita remained faithful and devoted to Rama caused of the ring she still wear.
Through the play I realized that no matter how much you love someone if the trust is broken, love will be destroyed. And also when you never expect that your partner will understand you all the way cause sometimes love needs to be proven. Because love is not a noun to be define but a verb to be acted upon.

One day, I lost Two
#3
My grandparents lives at Maranding, Lanao Del Norte that’s a two hours travel from Iligan City. It’s like once in a blue moon when we get to visit them because of two reason -- the fare and school matters. Whenever there’s an opportunity to do so my family make it sure that we all get to see them. It was April 2014 when I spent the shortest visit to my grandparents place because of a very important matter at school that I attended. It was like upon arriving I just got to see their faces then bid goodbye already. I felt my grandparents disappointment because they’re eager to see us. It was short but memorable because I got to took pictures with them. It never crossed my mind that it will be our last meeting. It was six months after, my grandparents met a motorcycle accident while on their way home from the market. That event turned my world upside-down, I was really shocked that I really don’t know what to say. I cried more knowing I can’t be there because of my studies. Everything happened in just a wink of an eye and boom! I lost them both. My lolo died on the spot while my lola fought for her life. Witnesses said they saw the impact of my lola’s fall and how she crawled from the street towards the fence of the house. My lola was brought to Ozamis Public Hospital where all her children was there to watched over her. Tears overflowed because they felt the pain of my lola, how she wanted to open her eyes but she barely can’t. She can’t even move her legs. The doctor said my lola was experiencing severe pain but struggled for her life. Every time her children talked to her, tears roll down to her eyes and through it they knew my lola was listening to them. They knew the sacrifices of my lola when they were still young, how she strived hard for their living. They can’t take it anymore seeing lola in pain so they decided to allow her to rest in peace. My mother called and informed me that my lola passed away already. I felt cold and for a short time it was like my surrounding turns black. I told myself I have to go their and expressed my pain and grief. Upon seeing my lola’s face inside the coffin I felt the heaviness in breathing but I couldn’t cry. I’m looking for my lola’s smile but it was pain written all over her face. I felt sad that I won’t be able to see those smiles again and hear her sweet voice. I rendered sleepless night for the wake and I just kept on looking at my lola. During the burial, I didn’t attend because I hate to bid goodbye to my lola. I knew in my heart that her memories will stay forever.
And ‘till now, it’s been a year since their death but the pain is still fresh in my heart. Disgusting it may seem but truly death is inevitable.

Life with gratitude
#2
Humans has different principle in life and they value different things in life. Some value most the pleasures they get through money and some value most the characteristics that build up their being --- attitude for instance.
In my own point of view, attitude brings out the totality of an individual. Attitude springs out good aspects of a person such as the sense of gratitude and good manners. I believe that no man is an island therefore we owe help from other people even if we don’t ask for it. We are responsible of our actions towards others hence we need to be very careful that we can’t hurt others. If we humans has an attitude of gratitude we can’t go wrong with our relationship with others. If we live with good sense of gratitude we will live a life with manners hence we know how to respect others because of our gratitude. Our gratitude towards others starts with being thankful for having people we call family and friends. This gratitude will lead to manners thus we will learn to respect and understand others.
Living life with gratitude will lead to a life with manners. Sense of gratitude will give us good manners to adopt to life happily.

Why Am I Existing?
#1 Circumstances has its purpose for occurring. Even the tears in our eyes has its purpose. Purpose for existing is sometimes left unknown and always unwritten. Purpose is not meant to be said but to be shown. The Parable of the Eagle implies discovering your self and your talent and skills not being someone/something people around you dictates you to be. Hence, this story gives me an idea what am I made for?; What do I live for?; Why am I existing? or; What is my purpose in life? That is to live as to what I am and I want and not in accordance to other people’s dictation. The story reminds me that I am unique in my own way and will always be me despite the different characteristics surrounding me. It also inspires me to soar high and I should not just be contented of just passing but I should strive to achieve my goals in life. For my sixteen years of existence, I believe that my purpose in life is to live to what my life desire to be. I exist not to do bad things but to know the difference between good and bad in order for me to do good things towards other. To love God above all, learn and spread the word of God. Follow His will and serve Him in everything. I exist not to be a naughty daughter but to be a perfect daughter for my parents. To respect my family, love them and obey them. To repay my parents’ sacrifices and efforts by finishing my studies and find a better job in the future. To help them in all circumstances at any cost even if I would risk my own life. I also exist not to be a naive person but to be a wise man in everything I do. To touch and inspire others life by giving them courage, strength, and knowledge. To encourage my peers to show their unique talents to the society. To be a good citizen and role model. To obey the rules and policies of the school I belong. Lastly, to promote peace and harmony to all people. To let love be the center of all and not guilt, hatred and revenge reign in our heart. I genuinely believed that we are uniquely blessed with innate gifts. Using this gifts justifies our person-hood for it shows who and what we are, also this can be our bridge towards other people. For I believe that we are created for a reason and our presence has significance in this world to both living and non-living.
