Thank you to our first five resident photographers Samuel J Davison, Ina Niehoff, Lukasz Wierzbowski, Sigrid Bjorbekkmo and Kalina Pulit. We had an amazing time getting to know you and working with you in Łódź.

Watch this space, our Instagram (@maialodz) and Facebook for updates. Over the European summer, we will be pasting more A0 prints created by our artists throughout Łódź. 

We are still working hard with the Łódź council to organise a public light box exhibition program outside Lokal Restaurant and Art Gallery in Łódź City. (This has not been an easy task!) We have two A2-sized light boxes ready to go, which will exhibit works created by Maia Łódź photographers on a rotating schedule. We’ll let you know when the boxes are finally up! If you’re not in Poland, you’ll be able to see photos here.

The Maia Łódź photobook is in its early design phase. Our book documents the public exhibitions that are pivotal to our vision for Maia Łódź and future Maia projects throughout the world. We are also saving some amazing photographic work by our resident photographers for print. This book will be launched in Australia and Europe soon, in 2015.
