~Oatmealberry Chipnut Cookies!

I wanted to try AL’s cookie recipe out of both curiosity, and because the recipe looked good.

I do not usually bake but was determined to make the cookies as accurately as I could, though i’m sure others have made them better or more accurately before. I could not find any examples of such online, aside from various comments of others saying they have tried the recipe before. hopefully someone finds this post interesting.

BAKING

I mixed the ingredients in the order listed, following along with the notes in brackets for more accuracy. I ended up needing another 1/2 cup of water before mixing as was stated. I made sure that the peanut butter chosen was not too liquidy nor solid either. Once mixed, I put the dough onto my tray in balls, slightly flattening them.

I did not grease the tray of course.

I baked them in the oven for 15 minutes at 350F. They did not take long to cool off once removed.

MY REVIEW

It is a unique recipe, and vegan aswell so that’s a plus.

They tasted pretty good in my opinion, I was quite pleased with them. chewy is a word i’d use, since I lack words to describe them in detail. I will say, they did not taste like other cookies i’ve tried before so if you are curious or just think that you may like them I say try it.

I enjoyed making them.

Final thoughts:

While making them I felt strange. It was who made them before and posted the recipe online that was on my mind while preparing them. I was eating the cookies of a dead man, and not just any.

I do not condone the actions of Adam or the tragedy that followed this recipe being posted 420 days later, but I must admit, he made damn good cookies.
