Print Mail API Dashboard is built on a secure, scalable and highly available platform. In this article we explain how to manage user access to Print Mail API Dashboard using the web interface.

User Management consists of the ability to add and remove users, configure role assignment rules, edit their role profile, and update their settings (such as user interface language or notification languages). A user can also modify the scope that defines which entities they are able to manage. Roles are based on privileges and a specific user type and can be made compatible or incompatible with certain user types.
Adding a new user is done by navigating to Administration > Users. To create a new user, select the user name from the list and click Edit in the Actions column. The user will receive an email requesting them to set their own password.
Configuring role assignment rules can be used to automatically assign roles to a newly created user (see Adding Roles). These rules can be configured to assign a specific role to a specific user group or to all users in an organization (see Configuring Role Assignment Rules). Some roles have additional parameters that require the administrator to choose values, such as a library/campus or service unit. This information is defined in the role’s description and accessible components.
