Hey all =O

It’s been a little bit! There’s a few things I need to do this little thing, time and space and horniness and I’ve been lacking all of them over the winter. I’m still in the thick of it (talking of thick, I have been eating so badly oO) so I’m not sure I’ll be back to the regular thing for a while, but I’m sure I can do a little posting here and there =)

Aww yiss. The blog got switched back to SFW so I have the flowers back. My avatar is no longer a butt.

So it turns out the “explicit” flag in the settings still exists, and that I was supposed to tick it off as well as remove all the content. I just sort of assumed the category would cease to exist oO

there’s a review process for the whole blog, we’ll see how that goes!

Seems I’m mostly still here, though my dashboard is definitely a little less fun than usual. Will people still come here for teh sexy if it mandates sfw? I guess we’ll see, but I’m glad it’s not just entirely gone.

Hmm. Tumblr flagging things at random is going to make this much harder to use, I can’t assume “safe” posts won’t get hidden. I’ll keep trying (and maybe drop a text post alongside the regular) but I’d recommend the twitter below if you want to be sure to catch these =)

Welp, the blog is now all sorts of work friendly (not that I would recommend browsing it at work mind). I can’t begin to imagine how you train a computer to look for genitals so I appreciate that being only slightly better than “essentially random” is reasonably impressive, but it’s going to make -staying- compliant a little fiddly.

Anywho, hopefully this should disappear into the ether now, but if it does you’ll find me on the twitters =)

Have you thought about moving to BDSMLR?

I had a quick look - I don’t think enough people go there naturally to make it a solid option, at least not yet. The same goes for most of the newer, smaller sites - Thanks to everyone who suggested something though. I’m going to keep my eyes open - I’m looking at posting in three places here, if that can become a one stop shop again? Very much up for that.

The other natural fit would have been reddit, but it’s harder to browse through posts there, and I’m really not keep on the whole upvote/downvote thing - it always seems a bit competitive when people in this space are kind of looking to build a positive self image. 

Twitter isn’t ideal by any means, but it’s something everyone is already familiar with. By the way, I just discovered you can switch accounts on the mobile app, if anyone’s concerned about nylon clad legs popping up in your regular feed =3

Quick edit to cover all of the ground in one post: sites that are intentionally designed for hosting porn are a visual nightmare. I don’t know why. There are too many of them for to be unintentional!

could u post a couple of blogs that are like yours? i think we will have a hard time finiding them affter the purge :(

When I thought this blog would just disappear my first instinct was to just start linking to basically everyone I follow - especially those for whom this is a revenue stream. Lot of great artists founded an audience here.

But I’m going to try and keep it online by tidying up half a billion flagged posts which changes things a bit - I don’t want to link to all that awesome lewdness if I then need to delete it. 

One thing about Twitter though (which I am still getting used to - any likes page tells you more about my sexuality than basically anyone in real life knows), you can just see who I follow, which is everyone active on here who’s posted a Twitter account so far (that I haven’t simply missed!). Lots of good stuff there (though currently it leans a little towards the vanilla glamour model end - that’s all I used to use Twitter for, they tend not to have Tumblrs!)

I’m not joking when I say this was my first priority, lol. I wanted somewhere that is clean looking, has large galleries and that you can easily browse through and download pictures. 

Imgbox can do all that, but without the advantage Tumblr had of being somewhere people already came to browse, distribute and link lewdness. I’m happy with it for the moment, even if the feedback isn’t anything like as good on Twitter just yet (I really enjoy reading comments ^^)

How do you fine folk feel about imgbox? I’m thinking of maintaining a full archive of the pictures there, and adding to it every time I post, so it all stays in one easy to browse place (or several places - the limit is 500 pics per gallery)

I’ll pin them on the twitter below, and pop them in as I post. I’m also going to clear up the tumblr over the next week, see if I can keep it online after the purge. Lot of pictures to clear but I’ve got it all backed up and will have it up on the box.

Do you have any plans for where you will be blogging once the porn ban is in place?

Not just yet. I’d hope that much of what Tumblr loses will coalesce around something new and I’ll follow, but that’s going to take a little while. 

In the meantime I’m planning on finding a site that does galleries fairly well, and then link to that through Twitter. If I can find the time, I might even try to clear the NSFW from this blog (I’m pretty sure I have it all backed up already, just not in an organised way) - there are a surprising number of sexy blogs I follow that don’t break the new rules and I don’t know if people will still be here for those, but who knows.
