Hey guys!

First of all, I'm very happy for you that RGG 5 is finally coming to the West. :)

I might even give it a chance, who knows (I'm not raging this hard anymore, lol). However, I'm writing this message to you, because I am going to close (not delete) the blog by the end of this month. This means I'm not going to occasionally reblog / like content anymore or reply to private messages.

Also, my contract with the domain provider expires on the 1st of January and I didn't extend it. This means, the url majimagoro.com and all links containing it, will not work anymore. If you still want to link to this blog, please use the usual majimagoro.tumblr.com url.

Yakuza Zero site updated with story, locations, young Kiryu and Majima!

With the official reveal of Yakuza Zero we get to see what Kiryu and Majima look like in their 20’s and the graphical boost they’re getting thanks to the PS4!

The locations shown are Kamurocho and Soutenburi. The extra level of detail on the next gen console is truly outstanding.

The story will revolve around young Kazuma Kiryu when he was a debt collector for the Tojo and young Majima as he attempts to run a cabaret club in Soutenburi. Kamurocho redevelopment is just getting underway with proposals to make the area more friendly instead of controlled by gangs and building the millenium tower.

Wait - what?! OMG! We've been BEGGING for this for ages and now they've finally realized how fucking awesome a Yakuza Zero would be?! About time!

Holy shit, this is the first time since forever that I'm kinda excited about something RGG related!

Ryu Ga Gotoku Zero announced for PS3 and PS4!

This morning the title of the next Ryu Ga Gotoku game was announced. No news yet on what this one will be about. But we have an awesome logo!

Given that the number is the same as the regular chronological series it’s likely this will be a RGG game set before Yakuza 1 in the timeline and not just a spinoff. But we’ll need to wait and see for full confirmation!

We’re gonna need to wait for TGS 2014 to see more!

Got this in my mailbox and took a look at the forum immediately. You should too. If you want Yakuza 5 to ever come out of Japan, we really need to let SEGA know that we WANT this game. A letter doesn’t cost much and it’s a really good way to get in touch with SEGA without spamming them online. I’m going to send at least two letters, both to different countries. 

And so help me if we can’t get even 1000 people to send letters! And before you go thinking all negative like “it doesn’t make a difference anyway” or “other people will send them so I don’t have to”, just no. Don’t. The Yakuza fandom is small in comparison and every person counts.

*SPOILERS* This fight is much less dumb than I was worried it would be; Majima would rather chance a fight he's pretty sure he'll lose than see anything happen to Haruka. These two know each other so well, all it takes is some cryptic banter and fists to the face and they know the whole story. It's not nearly as deep/satisfying as I was hoping for, buy these guys are no poets.

From 8:30 until the end of the video; *SPOILERS*

Saejima: Kurosawa!

Kurosawa: I’m surprised you guys came. You didn’t deceive my expectations at all. I’m deeply moved (sarcastic tone)

Saejima: And Majima? WHERE THE FUCK IS MAJIMA?!

Majima: B-brother...

Saejima: MAJIMA!

Majima: Excuse me, brother, please don’t come any closer.

Saejima: KUROZAWA! What the fuck is the meaning of this? TELL ME!

Kurozawa: Aah, impatient are we.. Let’s have some fun, shall we?

Saejima: What the hell are you doing…. ?

Kurozawa: This is too good, so let’s start.

Saejima: Majima… w-what the hell are you doing?

Majima: I’m so sorry, brother. It seems like we’re gonna have to kill each other.

Saejima: W-what?

Majima: As for me.. Kiryu-chan’s life (I think happiness is a better word in context, 'cause Majima is also trying to save Haruka) is really important to me… I can’t just abandon him.

Saejima: I don’t understand a word you’re saying! This is ridiculous!

Kurosawa: So it’s like this… (tosses Saejima the phone)

Majima: I don’t think you’ll be able to do this... I’m sorry, brother.

Saejima: Fool! I saw that guy (Kurosawa) try to kill Haruka. Whatever path I take I’m gonna have to kill people! I give my thanks to Kurosawa. Now I can be a true brother again; I can still show my brother my true feelings by killing him. It doesn’t matter which one of us dies. So let’s go, brother.

Majima: Yeah...

(Fight!)

Majima: I’m happy, brother. You were so young before (Neither of us were sure what this referred to specifically, but I think it's just more of their reminiscing)

Saejima: You too, brother!

Kurosawa; What’s going on? Is it already over? Come on, fight! You guys haven’t killed each other yet, you need to kill each other or Haruka Sawamura will die!

(Majima and Saejima just stare angrily)

Kurosawa: SHIT (makes the call) What’s going on? Why can’t I use my phone?

Saejima: So it’s like this… (mocking him as he chucks his own phone)
