anyway the cat plush was made for him by graecie while he was in prison. it was all he grabbed before he escaped the prison, and is the only thing he has left of her and the clearing as a whole. he clings onto it at night and thinks about the past and how things will never be the same again.

love how Pearl absolutely CANNOT stop being the Token Cishet. shes the only non-queer member of the divorce quartet. she keeps teaming with the two faggiest members of the Life Series Cleo and Scott. the other player who joined Hermitcraft at the same time as her and arguably her closest friend on the server is a bi woman. she won MCC Pride and was the only member of her team to be confirmed cishet. wherever there's some gay shit going on Pearl is going to appear to give double thumbs up and a big supportive grin about it.

"This better not be more bloody purpur, Pearl..." Joel scowled, arms crossed as he looked upon the sea of green shulker boxes sat outside his base's torii. He wasn't actually upset, the purpur war was good fun and games, but if this was another purur prank, that meant he was obligated to out-do it, which was going to be exhausting.

There was a grin on Pearl's face. "Nope! Not purpur, actually. You could call this a favour, in fact! It's a promotion for one of your permits... which is always woefully out of stock, so, I thought I'd give'ya some wares, encourage 'ya to stock up! You know, you're always complaining about how poor you are, but really, if you actually used your diamond permit, you wouldn't be half as povo as'ya are!" Pearl put his hands on his hips.

Joel squinted in offended bafflement, "'Xcuse me? Uh, I do use my diamond permit! I made a whole blummin' song for it! Honey, Honey, Honey... ring any bells? Worked hard on it! Gah, have people forgotten my hit single already? 'Sides, I don't need any more stock, Doc already bought me out and then regifted me my own stock... God, I'm getting sick of seeing bloody honey, please no more frickin' honey...!" He begged.

The postmaster giggled, a mischievous glint in his eye. "You're in luck! Not honey. Your other diamond permit."

"My other diamond permit...?" He didn't have another diamond permit. Did he? Wait, was he talking about...

"Slime!" Cheerfully, Pearl knocked his elbow against a shulker, the unit opening up as a tsunami the green goop flooded against the gate, and Joel had to scramble for his elytra to firework onto the top of the torii to avoid the barrage.

"Pearl!" He complained, because slime was horrid to clean, it was getting into all the nocks and crannies, gosh...

"You're welcomeeee~! Maybe you'll finally stock your shop now! Oh, and, there's a bonus present in there for you, too! Have fun with your boyfrienddd~" Pearl cooed, and he didn't get a chance to press him before he flew away with his elytra.

"My boyfriend? This is just a bunch'a blummin' slime! What the heck does she mean my boyfrie..."

His voice trailed off as he noticed, mixed in with the green, there was a blob of blue slime in a blue shulker. IJevin blobbed back and fourth, awkwardly trying to regain a humanoid shape, but stuck as an oblong square due to the shape of the container.

"U-um, hey, Joel...!" The slime was rather flustered, not only because of the situation, but because Pearl had tied the shulker he was stuck in up with pretty red ribbon like a present, a cursive Joel's! <3 written on a present tag poking out the top.

Joel felt like he was going to melt into a pile of goop in embarrasment.

"PEAAAARLLLL!"
