"The Angel, Banished, Will finally meet with its desire." It's asriel, right? Like, it's totally talking about the player seeing asriel.
For me, a huge motivator to play deltarune was the POSSIBILITY to see a grown up Asriel.
If the player really is the angel, then its desire is most likely Asriel. A lot of us are coming to deltarune after having played undertale already. So it would make sense.
