The Fairbrook Scarf

This is my bi-coloured, brown and navy, crochet scarf I made last week, just in time for autumn. The pattern is on Ravelry by Ashley Redmond. It’s a very good beginner pattern that only took me a few hours. The yarn I used is left over cheapo acrylic that I wouldn’t recommend as it split with literally every stitch.

An Irish Crochet Lace Doily

I finished this mid-July. The pattern is from Priscilla Crochet Book: Centrepieces & Doilies which was published in 1915. It’s my first project following only a written pattern. I used a 2mm hook and whatever cotton crochet thread was available from Michaels.
