Despite the general belief that higher serum testosterone increases the risk of developing new and rapid growth of latent prostate cancer (PC), recently some scientists attribute testosterone only a secondary role. And the emphasis is being shifted onto its direct derivative-estradiol.

Human is an omnivorous species, and meat has been an essential part of his diet for millions of years, and no one doubts it. From the other hand, for the last hundred or so years, humanity has been facing an explosion of modern lifestyle or technology born diseases such as heart diseases, various types of cancer and so on. Does it make sense to accuse in these disasters the best food that has been providing a man with energy and health during his whole life? Probably, instead of criticizing meat and trying to exclude it from our diet we need more carefully analyze the way we feed our animals, the way we process meat, and the way we eat it. What causes the development of prostate cancer in men?
An increasing amount of scientific evidence suggests a genetic basis for the development of prostate cancer. Therefore, the easier a particular factor triggers genetic aberrations in specific genes of the prostate, the more likely the factor is capable of developing cancer. The healthiest food, no matter meat or vegetables, may cause prostate cancer if it is seasoned with pesticides and hormones. Neither chemical no food companies have been following up the possible adverse effects of their “innovations” and “additives” for 30-50 years. If you are concerned about the health of your prostate, be aware of what you eat and make the right choice.
