MUD X READER | CUDDLING HEADCANONS

You'd assume hugging him would feel rather slimy and bony, to which you're correct. However! All his layers make hugs pretty comfortable.

Since he's technically an accountant....I assume he has an area to himself somewhere in the shop, right? Maybe if Ken was feeling generous. Either way, he feels most comfortable in private. As I mentioned before, he doesn't outright avoid PDA. It's just in small gestures. In private though? He's much more comfortable.

I feel like he's a relaxed but clingy cuddler. He could act like he doesn't gaf, he's lying on some old couch with you resting on his chest, maybe one of his legs is hanging off the couch or they're both propped up, one arm loosely around you, a cigarette in his mouth. But!! As soon as you try to get up, he's not letting you go. Nuh uh.

"Where do ya' think you're going, eh? We just got 'er."

Like I said, all his layers make him surprisingly warm. He's been sleeping on that meat hook for long enough, it's a nice change to have someone to hold onto at night. He's basically a good cuddler for when it's cold out in Gaslight District, usually during the chilly nights.

If you fall asleep on him, he naturally doesn't move. Not an inch. It doesn't matter how uncomfortable he is, he doesn't want to wake you. When you're awake, he'll definitely complain about it though — about how he was in an awkward position, his neck bones aching, you drooling on him, grumbling and whining. It's all for show, don't worry. Don't mention how you felt him stroking your hair, or running his fingers along your side as you slept. That was a dream!

After spending so much time with him, cuddling is an instant stress reliever. After a long day of arguing with his brother, yelling at Mel not to mess up his shot, all he wants is to sit down and rest. He'll take a seat on his old, ripped-up couch, throwing himself on it like a sack of bones. He'll pat the spot beside him without even glancing your way, just silently hoping you take a seat next to him. When he feels you curl up beside his shoulder, he lets himself sigh out, wrapping an arm around you.
