What... is this feeling?

It's... odd. A strange desire, really. What are you doing to me?

You smile at me, both cheekily and knowingly. You feign being flustered while you bat your eyelashes at me.

"My, my, is someone hungry?" You say. I want to say 'no', but right as I open my mouth, a punctuated growl sounds from my stomach, as if it's eagerly saying yes.

"A shame," You say before turning away.

I thought I had my instincts under control. I haven't felt this way in years. I've worked hard to obtain a reputation of being kind and gentle, not someone who devours someone.

But here you are, making my mouth water and my stomach grumble.

"What would happen if I were to, say, run away?" You ask, looking over your shoulder at me. My mouth waters even more and I have to swallow thickly to stop from drooling.

"If you run, I'll chase you," I answer honestly. Excitement flashes across your features, and then, a smile makes its way onto your face.

"And then?"

I lean forward, getting a good whiff of your tender scent. "I'll devour you."

I'm usually not so forward. Usually. But sometimes, my predatory instincts take over, and I can't help it.

"Guess I better start running, then!"

I open my mouth to protest. Don't do it, you'll trigger my instincts-

But before I can even get the words out, you're taking off, sprinting away from me. My stomach growls again, and I can't help but to lick my lips. You're bringing this on yourself, I hope you know... when I catch you, and it's when, not if, I'll hold on to you for as long as I please.
