Chapter 1 - Part 6
She patted Windfall’s flank, urging her to go onward without her rider. After a snort, the Pegasus flew off but not before flapping her wings irritatingly at her ‘hitchhiker’.
Harose hid a smile at that as the stranger sputtered at the sudden blow of a face full of feathers. She then called on him, “My name is Harose. Who are you?”
The stranger shrugged, “I was never given a name,”
Harose winced at that, knowing that it was common for those with weakness amongst the Exhile to be lacking in name because usually it meant that they don’t deserve to even be remembered. She nodded, “What do you call yourself then?”
He smiled and she blinked. The smile looked lost and sad as he answered, “Hermit,”

Chapter 1- Part 5
She nodded, “What happened between you and the Pegasus?”
The blind stranger shrugged, “I was running from bandits,”
She has a niggling feeling that he was lying to her as her eyes strayed to the blocky bundle in his arms, “Did you steal something from the bandits?”
He grinned, flashing sharp rows of fangs at her, “Nope. Just retrieving what they stole from me,” He has a slight growl at the end of his words. Harose raised one delicate brow at this; either it’s the truth or he’s a very good liar.

Chapter 1 - Part 4
He raised both hands in well-known universal sign language of ‘I-am-harmless’, “I am not a spy, I promise you that. After all, after the fall of the Overlord, many Exhiles either retreated back beyond the border or, like me, wander around aimlessly,” He then gestured at his blindfolds, “Besides they would rather kill me back in the days due to this,”

Chapter 1 - Part 3
A sigh and a push later, he landed on his two feet. Harose did not miss the way he flinched the moment his soles meet the earth. She studied her ‘guest’; he was tall, taller than her even and Harose knew that he was not of her race since she was considered ridiculously tall for her race and gender. But most of all, she noticed his long black hair and the cloth blindfolding him. His tipped ears were longer than hers, also cluing her in on his race and his built was slender but she can tell that his slender frame belied his true strength, most of his kind do. He was dressed rather funny and Harose’s scrutiny of the long dirty robe covering his bandaged up body tell her of a long journey.
She frowned, guard up, “What is an Exhile doing so far out here?”

Chapter 1 - Part 2
They fall tumbling from the sky and Harose kept her body pressed over the abdomen of unconscious company. She could tell that he was in a daze and somehow kept from thrashing and displace his already uncomfortable position from the Pegasus and plummet to his death. Harose looked over her shoulder and saw the Pegasus tailing them. The two Pegasus, one with two passengers, danced among the clouds trying to out fly the other and Harose knew that with their extra passenger, Windfall won’t make it and this she can tell from the heavy breathing that her stead was snorting with.
Her mind made up, she called out, “Windfall, twinkle toe!”

Chapter 1- Part 1
At first she wasn’t sure what was going on but the moment his weight registered to her, she immediately felt Windfall bucking mid-flight from the shock of sudden added weight. Her unexpected company was holding a thick block covered in cloth as he fell dazed. She looked up to find a bad tempered wild Pegasus aiming at them. Grumbling from the sudden crisis of being kicked off seat by a wild dark feathered Pegasus she quickly called out, “Windfall, shooting star!”

Prologue Part 3
A few more metres and Harose’s eyes adjusted in the bright light of high noon. She looked forward and held back a grimace at the wide marble bridge that connect Open Garden and Royal Trail, which was the main path leading through the forest for the Main Imperial Gate, to the busiest market of Eden; simply known as the Market.
It was such a change of scenery; from the idyllic and magical-like path of the trail to the humid and busy steam empowered town of the Market. Harose has long suspected that the Royal Designers in charge in the Open Garden’s design had placed a certain rune works around the area to stop the noise from the Market from reaching and disrupting the peaceful ‘garden’.
Harose stopped at the edge where she can feel the thrum in the air, completely invisible and unless one was trained as much as her one would not notice it being there at all, she studied the ‘network’ that made up the sound barrier between the ‘garden’ and the Market before stepping through, feeling something akin to spider webs breaking over her person and the noise assaulted her senses.

Prologue Part 2
That done, Harose stopped when she saw Imperial General Ross standing at the end of the lane they were using, armoured hand on his sword strapped to his armoured hip. He saluted and curtsied, “Princess, Her Majesty the Imperial Queen wished for me to greet you and to escort you to her quarters,” He nodded at the Princess’s company, “Harose,”
Harose nodded back at him, back ramrod straight and eyes coldly closed from expressing her opinion of him with a mask of passive coldness, “General,”
Andromeda rolled her eyes at their stiff greetings of each other and threw her arms warmly over Harose’s shoulders, “Please come…at least for me?” She pulled back with a whisper and looked at the other girl’s pale grey eyes like raining storm clouds.
Harose gave her the smallest glimpse of her smile, “If the Emperor commands me,” She saluted and bowed to the Imperial Princess in commoner’s disguise before stepping back, “By your leave, Your Majesty,”

Prologue Part 1
She turned to face the other girl, “Will I be seeing you this evening? You never appear at the Memorial and Victory Celebration other than that first time. It’s been almost a full decade and you have yet to give another speech,”
Harose sighed, “Princess…” Andromeda pouted and cut her, “Oh don’t you dare! I know when you start calling me Princess that you won’t be talking to me as a friend but rather as my Father’s underling,” She grumbled at that, “You haven’t been to the Palace for more than eight long years! You should at least come and sneer at the most recent ‘decorations’,”
Harose grinned, “Unfortunately despite my distaste of the Royal Interior Designers and my wont to express my…shall we say most unwanted…opinion of their questionable taste, I must decline your invitation,”
Andromeda scowled, “You didn’t come because Father didn’t sent an order or formal invitation to you, am I right?” At the other girl’s shuttered expression, Andromeda growled, “I knew something was wrong! I sent out many invitations to you but you always reply in the negatives or that something serious has come up at that refugee camp you are hosting! I can’t believe that he’s treating you-!”
Harose placed her hand over the ranting girl’s mouth, “Andromeda, please! You do not need to bad mouth your Father. He is the Emperor and thus it is in his every right to treat me as he pleases,” She lowered her hand as the Princess rolled her eyes in disgruntled agreement.

Original story draft
I am going to post drafts of my original story here to see how it will be received. Also, getting constructive comments is also a plus. This will be my first original work. But I also do dabble in fanfiction and fanart! Mostly in Harry Potter, Inuyasha and Bleach. If anyone recognized my name then you must have come across my work on Fanfiction.net. Unfortunately the site have been been blocked in my country and thus inaccessible to me. Ironically, I still received reviews, followers and subscribers as well as story updates on my email. Haha...three years...thank you to fans of my work. I am sorry for not being able to update but my reason in concrete. There is nothing I can do but change platform. Find me on Quotev, Wattpad, Ao3 and others! I will try to post my works on these platforms. On the other hand, I am taking a break from Dokuga. There is just too much angst there for depressed ol me. Personally a non-loyal Sesshoumaru is NOT Sesshoumaru to me! He has been portrayed as a loyal man for so long that this new description of him is like a betrayal to me. So I will wait for the trend to wear off before diving back in.
