Always good to have a card up your sleeve. Just be careful. I don’t want you putting yourself in unnecessary danger.
You’re quite welcome. I’m sure we’ll work well together.
Hello, ma'am. I've heard through the grapevine, so to speak, that you were attempting to.. deal with Murkoff, and I was wondering if you'd.. need any help with that.
The doctors don't exactly talk quietly, around me. They think I can't hear them, I think, or that I won't remember.
You… want to help me? Well then. I welcome you! I’ve been wanting to hammer the final nail into their coffin ever since… they did what they did.
You’re a patient, correct? What would be the best way to communicate with you? As much as I’ll enjoy your help, I don’t want you putting yourself in danger.

I understand, obstruction of justice angers me as well. But I believe in you. If I can help it, justice will prevail even if they think it won’t.
I’ve been doing alright. Working on a few difficult things myself.
Hello again, Certiorari. Assuming you are the same person, anyway. How is that case of yours going? Are you having any luck gathering concrete evidence of the sabotage?
Hello, and yes I am indeed the same person; as for my case... for a lack of better words... it's going to hell... my higher-ups aren't allowing me to get any camera footage of the evidence being explicitly tampered with... in fact... the people siding with the defendent outright burned the evidence... in broad fucking daylight! And do forgive my language, it just angers me that those idiots up top allow for people to just walts in and destroy everything!
But, besides my terrible luck, how have you been doing your Honor?

Wonderful. Good to know. I hope it’ll be enough to prevent him from committing property crimes in the future.

Well, I suppose that’s good to hear. Do let him know if you see him, I suppose.

In relation to your previous ask; it's not very "justice prevails" of you to want to commit crimes on a rabbit just saying. That guy can't defend itself
Hey now, I never said that. The implication of that statement was that stand-your-ground laws are very real.
But, I do see your point, as the defendant in question is not human. What if instead of fining said rabbit, I offer it a carrot. I’m sure that would taste better than one of my gavels…

What if I (hypothetically) was a little bunny rabbit. And what if (stay with me) I had a lot of spite in my heart. And now theoretically (don't lose me here this is important) what if I chewed up your gavel with my little creature teeth. In that scenario, what would you (hypothetically of course) do about that?
On an unrelated note I found your gavel chewed up with teeth marks from some kind of beast all over it that's weird isn't it here's that back ❤️
*takes a very, very deep breath*
Well. You know, I always knew that there would be a rationalization to the reason I carry more than one… and I suppose today that has come to fruition.
But even still. Destruction of personal property DOES fall under property crime!! But, since I don’t feel like charging you for something so small, I will simply advise you not to repeat this offense, as I personally am not opposed to retaliating!!

Justice be honest is it satisfying to slam down the gavel on a case. Do you feel powerful. It looks like it would make you feel powerful
To be honest? Yes. It is INCREDIBLY satisfying, and it does give me a feeling of power. But, what's even better, is knowing that I'm putting some horrible scumbag away. More often than not, for good.

hey whats the legality of drugging your coworker, it was a joke man
It’s… not. That’s completely illegal, in fact it’s a felony. You can get served with a fairly harsh sentence if you drug someone. “It was a joke” does not make it legal.
You… do realize I have to take an admission like this very seriously, do you not?!

Your Honor,
Thank you for asking my question, and yes this is a personal case that I was a part of. The defendent who was put to trial for, I believe their crimes were four accounts of kidnapping, torture, and mutilation of four men and women. And the defense attorney used the logic of "8f there is no evidence there is no crime" and had people on the inside tamper with the evidence.
-Certiorari
OH. Yes, that's a serious criminal case. What kind of corrupt system did this court have that that excuse worked?!! Yes, if you can prove that evidence was tampered with, APPEAL. That is obstruction of justice and corruption, in addition to the original charges.
That defendant sounds like a disgusting person. I wish you luck going forward with appealing your case.

Hello your Honor,
I'm sure you get quite strange requests from people asking questions, but how would one go about bringing someone to court for crimes the've previously been tried for as guilty but were some how proven as innocent due to evidence being "mismanaged" without the charges being listed as double jeopardy?
Certiorari
Ah, a legal question. Those are always welcome. Well, if you wanted to appeal that court's decision, you'd have to prove that evidence was mismanaged. If you can prove that evidence was 100% mismanaged, then you would avoid falling under double jeopardy. You could most likely also formulate a charge of obstruction of justice out of that. That is certainly a specific scenario you've described to me, is this a personal case?
Either way, thank you for the question and good luck on your endeavors, Certiorari.

How long have you been a judge? -Stevie from @askstevie
A bit over five years. And I've seen some horrific characters in those four years, let me tell you. When you work in the criminal justice system, you'll see things that change you.

⚖️ Judge Wargrave is Presiding. ⚖️
My main account is @a-reagent-in-a-corner, where I post miscellaneous Outlast content.
This is an ask blog for my Outlast Trials OC, Justice Wargrave. Everything is purely fictional and just for fun.
For some background, her name and a bit of lore was inspired by And Then There Were None. She is meant to be Lawrence Wargrave's granddaughter.
Justice is a criminal court judge. She is connected to Murkoff via her best friend, Hector, and is currently trying to dig into the company.
The Outlast franchise deals with heavy topics such as gore, violence, torture, abuse, and depictions of death. Please make sure to use caution, and do not interact if this kind of thing bothers you.
I am 19 out of character, so keep that in mind when sending asks. Please no NSFW, and I will not answer an ask if it makes me uncomfortable.
Any OC or canon character is free to send an ask, as well as anyone else who just wants to ask a question or talk.
OUTLAST 1 CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME as well as Trials! While Justice is made for Trials, she, similar to Hector, survived to see the events of Outlast 1 through… slightly unconventional measures. Same goes for crossovers, always welcome.
I will be remaining in character unless otherwise specified. Again, please keep this in mind when sending in asks.
I am not the most familiar with Tumblr, so forgive me if anything is a bit rough or confusing.
