Hey Cass, I found an animatic on your youtube for a Cyberpunk AU of the Dream SMP. I tried finding it but the link doesn't work (and I never really use twitter), do you know where I could go find it?
Oh..well. I deleted my twitter so I guess nowhere. But I still have it on my Ipad so. Here👍

Totally up to you but I’d love to hear more of your thoughts on Adoption AU!
thank you for the ask ! my ideas mostly based on @/trevination and @/made-my-peace-with-all-the-bad 's ramblin' bout their own conception of it and i may inadvertently repeat what they've said lol (i think it's yall two correct me if i'm wrong)
- ponyboy's real insecure about not being like soda or darry, or like the average greaser. in the novel, he isolates himself from the "typical" activities and while he defends them, also shows an internalised prejudice regarding class and intellect.
-> regarding the whole intellect thing, i think that and his experience of the general social care system (i can't remember if he experiences foster care? i think orphanages were beginning to phase out at that point) means he sorta thinks he knows better when it comes to this stuff + just teenager angst means he's doubtful about a lot of reassurances
"I reckon it never occurred to you that your brothers might be worrying their heads off and afraid to call the police because something like that could get you two thrown in a boys' home so quick it'd make your head spin. And you were asleep in the lot? Ponyboy, what on earth is the matter with you? Can't you use your head? You haven't even got a coat on."
-> this. social care and its injustices is a theme that's explored in the outsiders through darry who yeah isn't a suitable carer but is the best thing pony and soda have right now. he works two jobs, (sunrise to sunset in the musical) only to take care of domestic shit, help pony with his homework, find time inbetween to still hang out with friends. darry is more than a big brother but with all the responsiblites thrust onto his shoulders, i bet it's real hard to believe he's anything but some days– anything but a giver. he's barely out of his teen years, he's only 20 but that's how life has come to it
- at the end of the day though, they're brothers. more than that and in a way that doesn't have to be defined, they love each other. it takes reassurance and patience that not everyone has all the time (nobody's perfect) but pony knows he's one of them. one of the curtises, always
#bro i forgot we were moots#the JUMPSCARE#i was like Yo did i ping her ????#The answer was no u just see stuff at the speed of light and then some#/silly

as a person who lost a loved one to addiction, i would rather have them be able to use safely in a sterile environment with safe equipment, where they can 100% know the drug is not laced with something deadly, and live- than them dying because they didn’t know what the drug contained, or because no one was there to make sure they weren’t ODing, or because they used dirty equipment in a dirty environment.
again more simply put, i would rather have my dead loved one continue using drugs in a safe manner and stay alive, than die the way they did because the stigma around substance use is not only dangerous, but lethal.
harm reduction saves lives.

outsider perspective of neil josten will never not be the funniest thing in the world to me like wdym this no-name, no-reputation kid was picked up by the most infamous d1 team in the league and proceeds to 1. insult one of the most famous college players on live tv, 2. claim his notoriously bad team is going to beat a team who has never lost, 3. spends christmas break with that team and comes back with red hair, blue eyes, and a face tat that’s basically the equivalent of that same famous player’s seal of approval, 4. says that the face tat is meaningless and insults the team & player to reporters, 5. gets kidnapped during a riot after a game, 6. comes back with a ton of injuries that are clearly from torture (including a burn mark where the face tat was, 7. be revealed as the son of an infamous serial killer (who’s dead now, btw), 8. play in a totally different position than normal during finals and actually succeed in both playing that position and winning the game against the undefeated team, 9. almost get murdered by the famous player on live tv for having the audacity to win like ??? honestly idk if it’s funnier to imagine all of this from a PSU fan’s perspective or from a fan of like, some team in the west who’s just watching all of this from a distance like “hahaha what the fuck is happening over there??”
