jon snow at politics: Sam my close personal friend Sam who would die for me just rigged the nights watch lord commander election for me because he is charismatic and good at talking to various different oppositional factions of the watch to get them to support me which is the only reason I have the power I do. What should I do with an ally that has that skillset? Exile him to wizard school against his will on the other end of the continent by himself for multiple years🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️I should only allow my enemies who want to kill me near me☝️
jon snow at municipal loan negotiation for some goddamn reason:

tumblr is widely known for its sexymen polls so why not make one for asoiaf? the problem is that if I played this straight jaime would sweep the floor with the other contestants and it would be no fun (I know my audience and also come on) so I decided to do something a bit different
so I present to you the first Unlikely ASOIAF Sexyman Poll consisting of characters that george probably never intended to be fuckable but some of you freaks and fujos want to fuck anyway...
I've seen thirst posts for all of the characters in this poll except for one (which was a suggestion from my brother that I thought was kinda funny) but now it's up to YOU 🫵 to decide which one is the most fuckable!
"but lady shart I don't like men" well neither do I but for the purposes of this poll let's all pretend we are bisexual fujo riverlands peasants and decide in our heart of hearts which of these unsexy sexy men is the most fuckable!
let the voting begin!!!!
"but shart where is the hound?" nowhere because I hate him and I feel like he would win because of the show it's MY poll and the first democratically elected president of the 7 kingdoms daenerys targaryen said I can do what I want 😉

in celebration of jaime lannister getting me in trouble (in true lannister fashion, dragging down random people simply for existing within their vicinity), i’ve prepared a selection of art of me trashing his ass

i will not stop thinking abt final girl baela targaryen actually…tfw your only real moment of agency is to end the narrative and unintentionally become the architect of a world you yourself cannot adapt to

I think of one Ned’s funniest moments is when Cersei slaps him and he repeats to her what she said to Robert after he slapped her

Like… your accusing her kids of being bastards and your JOKING right now????

what I love about catelyn’s characterization is that she isn’t everyone’s mother. she refuses to treat jon like one of her own. she doesn’t have any “motherly instincts” towards theon. even with brienne, she connects with her on more of a woman to woman level than through some mother-daughter dynamic. she never feels obligated to play the angelic “mother to all” figure.
but that’s the best part about her journey as a mother—it’s kind of messy. she has a favorite child, she’s forced to choose between her kids, she actively resents a motherless boy, she dislikes the hostage child living in her home. like yeah catelyn’s love for her children is beautiful and “pure” or whatever, but it also makes her cruel, selfish, impulsive, ruthless, even vengeful.
tbh catelyn’s sense of motherhood is just so unapologetically human, so refreshingly honest. she may be a mother, but there’s nothing romantic or intuitive or easy about it. catelyn stark loves her children, but it’s not that simple.

"Jon will want me. Even if no one else does." - arya
that's RIGHT! he WILL! sorry to the surely very few "arya is too far gone" truthers - jon STRONGLY disagrees. when he decides to save "arya" from ramsay, jon wonders if they'll even recognise each other. he struggles to reconcile the memory of the scrappy little sister he loved and the girl forced to be ramsay's "bride". he knows she might have suffered and she might have changed... and then he sacrifices EVERYTHING to try and save her anyway!!! this arya is symbolically and LITERALLY a completely different person and jon still loves her unconditionally. arya doesn't NEED redeeming in any significant way - what she needs is love and healing and not even death is going to prevent jon "big brother of the year" snow from providing it, thank you for coming to me NED talk.

jaime in affc acts like cersei is having some kind of hysterical Woman Moment in being scared that tommen is going to be assassinated as if that isn’t a perfectly sensible political concern given the multiple powerful people with huge investment in tommen being dead + the fact that joffrey was assassinated like two business days ago and myrcella is going to have her ear cut off in an assassination attempt next week. like of course shes also worried in part bc of the prophecy she’ll outlive all her children but its not like its an irrational fear without that context
