Crraganmore 1989 32 year old Cask#2489 for Bar Parkmore 20th anniversary.

Conifers and ripe orange, sour malty and milky cream with sun bathing hay aroma. Pleasant long aging estery fragrance. With smooth mouthfeel, honey and apricot juice, then rush of sour malty and bitter sweet flavor with mild woodiness. Palate leads to finish as it is, broth and salt cookie, conifers and smoke, soil, milk remains so comfortably. Exquisitely beautiful long aging Crraganmore.

GlenBurgie 1974 34 year old Ballantine’s Master Blender’s Selection.

Amazing long aging GlenBurgie. Fresh apricot and dry pineapple, syrupy malty with sun bathing woodiness aroma. Fascinating estery fragrance. With smooth mouthfeel, robust malty bitter sweet and candy floss, apricot and rhubarb flavor with much woodiness and obvious smoke. Spicy finish then gooey fruits sweet and malty remains strongly.

GlenGrant 25 year old for Royal Wedding Reserve.

Fascinating GlenGrant. Slightly broth and leaf mold, stewed whole grapes and deeply mellow old sherry, soft malty touch and whispering herbs aroma. Elegant sherry note fragrance. With silky mouthfeel, juicy grape and velvet like sherry and gentle malty sweet flavor with outlined smoke. Comfortable tannin finish then hint of salt and old peat, black soil bitterness, ephemeral malty remains longly. Lovely old GlenGrant.

Ballindaloch 7 year old Edition No.1 Seven spring collection.

Impressive Scotland new distillery’s whisky. Fresh peer and tingling varnish, coconuts oil and sun bathing woodiness aroma. Fine bourbon cask fragrance. With smooth mouthfeel, again coconuts and vanilla, spicy malty flavor.

Bold smoke and woody finish then refined sugary sweet and intense bitter sweet remains. As time goes by, unexpectedly tropical fruits arises.

GlenGarioch 1991 27 year old Cask#2920 Beery Bros & Rudd for Shinanoya.

Really good stuff of GlenGarioch 1991. Bold peat smoke and coffee liquor, burnt malty with dried woodiness aroma. No perfume fragrance. With smooth mouthfeel, creamy malty sweet and stewed dry fruits flavor. Elegant smoky finish then dry soil and much cream, jelly fruits remains shortly.

Longmorn 1996 17 year old Cask#156779 Old Masters James MacArthur.

Impressive late of 90s Longmorn. Bond of herbs, salty malty with hint of broth and juicy pineapple and touch of vanilla aroma. Rich estery fragrance. With smooth mouthfeel, fresh mint then robust malty soaks into tongue and comfortable honey sweet flavor with sharp spices. Woody finish then homey and dry pineapple, salty and smoky malty remains longly. How lovely.

Ontake The First Edition 2023.

It is kind of, a whisky from experiment by huge costs. Sour sweet sultana raisin and malty flavor with mild woodiness aroma. With smooth mouthfeel, soft malty and kumquats flavor with calm woodiness. Slightly sulphury finish then malty sweet and acridity, bitter sweet and hot spices remains. Too clean to memorize.

They uses sherry cask which were used as sorela system only, no idea how they had investigated in that. I should evaluate how high this whisky quality is, put the cost aside. This distillery is for the nobility, this first edition says JPY 14,300 - for 700ml, alc.43, 3 years or so aging.

Less impressive high ball.

Slightly gas and fruity sweet aroma. Intense bitterness then bold rice flavor on the tongue with sour. Pretty dry flavor and much better from second day.

蔵太鼓 純米酒.

Fresh boiled rice and lactic acid, malted rice aroma. Clear bitters then sharp lingering, sweet rice remains with sour. Somehow amazake, made from fermented rice.

冩樂 純米吟醸 赤磐雄町.

Slightly gas and citrus aroma. Calm sour then rich rice and ripe fruits flavor. Elegant bitterness then water current lingering.

Fresh boiled rice and slightly pineapple aroma. Hint of gas and melon, sweet water flavor then bitter sweet lingering. Gradually, walnuts milk.

Refreshing herb and moistured malty, elegant roast peat and gentle iodine aroma. Noble Lagavulin fragrance. With oily mouthfeel, burnt malty and gooey sweet flavor with delicate mixed herbs. Woody finish then velvet like burnt malty and rich broth, gooey sweet remains longly.
