Appearance: Bright red hair that is always worn in a messy bun. Light brown eyes. If she’s at work, she wears her uniform, a red and white diner dress with a white apron. Otherwise, she wears long sleeve shirts with the sleeves pushed up and sweat pants.  

Occupation, if applicable: Member of Smokescreen. Owner of Birdfeed Dinerr.

About: Nora’s family has been Smokescreen for generations. The diner was built as a safe-house by her ancestors when they first moved into the city from Ireland. Nora dropped out of school in the tenth grade, after her father was murdered, in order to help her mother run the diner and take care of her younger siblings. When Nora was 18, her mother was killed in a hit and run and her siblings were sent to live with an out-of-state relative. Nora stayed behind to keep up the diner and preserve her family’s place in the Swan City chapter of Smokescreen.

Nora married her childhood sweetheart when she was 21 years old. They tried for years to have children, but were unsuccessful. Ella was considered a miracle, the only child of Nora’s to live past two. Unfortunately, when Ella was five, Nora’s husband was killed in a mission for Smokescreen.

Despite all of the misery surrounding her, Nora never gave up hope, never stopped fighting for what was right and good. She taught Ella how to defend herself. She sought out her younger siblings and encouraged three out of the four to join Smokescreen in their towns (the fourth refused to listen and later became a criminal). Nora is kind-hearted and is a mother to all who come to her. She is the very definition of a mama bear.
