This same sentiment, unfortunately, applies here, too. Joining Tumblr in October of 2019 made me who I am today. These 4 years made me grow as a person, through good and bad; made me learn about myself and the world around me; and gave me a place where I could feel hope and joy. I want to thank everyone I’ve met here: Six, Nathalie, Mae, Kevin, Charlie, and so many others who I got to share this experience with. I think about you always.

Here are some things I wanted to do on Tumblr before this unexpected leave, to finish on some sort of happier note:

I wanted to continue Daily Fiamet.

I wanted to make a sort of cousin blog to DF featuring Doc Scratch. Seeing him rise in popularity lately has made me very happy.

I wanted to make many more sideblogs to organize my blog(s).

Leaving like this really hurts, but staying while being unable to continue or do anything hurts even more. I have to move on, and luckily I will take so many good memories with me to ensure I won’t be alone through it. I want to thank everyone for everything, especially for reading this. Be seeing you,

Hello, everyone. This might be my final message here. Starting from my absence from this blog since May, I have tried many times to revive it to no avail. I am in a situation where I am more monitored on my online activity and have more difficulty accessing Tumblr to post here or even use it. Daily Fiamet is supposed to be a continuous exercise, but seeing as the end of this year is approaching and it is impossible to catch up by it, I have decided to “let this blog go”.

I know this may not sound like a big deal, but this blog and Fiamet have meant so much to me. Thinking about a character every day, without fail, fore years, since the day one was introduced to them does that to a person. This blog was based on my love of Fiamet and the hope that I would find other people who felt the same way about her through it, and abandoning this blog makes me feel as if I’ve failed: failed Fiamet, failed the kind anonymous asker(s) who gave me drawing prompts, failed other Fiamet fans, and failed my own goals. However, I feel like shutting operations down now will hurt less than trying to complete the impossible task of filling a hole that keeps growing more and more.

The last drawings I made out of time will be tagged with a special “goodbye” tag, and have two final drawings that I wish to post before leaving. After they’re finished and posted, that will be everything. Daily Fiamet is cancelled. Farewell.

Hi again. It’s been almost a month since I left Tumblr and… DAMN. I miss this crazy website 😔. Unfortunately, due to the happenings of life, I won’t be able to use Tumblr as I did before. However! As of writing this post, in a few days, the one-year anniversary of Fiamet’s appearance’s reveal in Stuck At Home Con is coming up, so I decided to make a sporadic comeback to celebrate the occasion! Hurray!! I can’t guarantee that I’ll be active again after that, but I’ll try to revive @daily-fiamet at the very least :]
