this got a lot of attention so i would like to clarify - since i forgot last time - that kashima is demisexual/biromantic and maybe even questioning his gender expression, and kamitani is the gayest man you have ever seen but he is also asexual. i said what i said and no one can tell me i’m wrong !

also inui is slowly discovering that he is in fact a bisexual legend thank you and good night !!

ushimaru is bisexual and dating her lesbian girlfriend inomata and they are supported by, also dating, allies kashima and kamitani, who are all given a casual thumbs up by pansexual legend usaida while inui hiroyuki sexuality crisis himself simps from the window watched by dating legends chuukichi and yagi who are also watched by the last pansexual legend saikawa, all guided by the asexual aromantic chairwoman

platonic or not but my favourite thing about hayato throughout the whole manga is that he consistently does what he can to make sure that kashima would be able to have fun on his own as a teenager too

kotaro was afraid for his brother going to the scary rollercoaster so it’s understandable that he’d be clingy since he doesn’t understand it enough to be safe. and ofc it would’ve either taken a minute or ryuuichi would’ve folded and not go at all if it had gotten on longer but then 

it’s also funny bc his flatness/lack of care attitude frames him as a heartless monster by default but like. because of him ryuuichi is able to go 

this isn’t the first time hayato drags ryuuichi along or does something for him, and it won’t be the last. i just appreciate that he cares about him a lot enough to make sure to look after him too. it’s the little things that count

Synopsis

The premise is kind of like Fruits Basket but also not in very significant ways lol. Starting with the curse not being limited to one family, causing it to have more public attention. Cursed individuals were treated as entertainment and constant public attention before they all seemingly disappeared. The truth was that they learned to hide until they broke their curse. In order to break their curse, they needed to feel completely and totally accepted and loved by someone, and be old enough to understand that. When Morinomiya Youko became chairwoman, she transformed the academy into a haven for cursed individuals, who unwillingly passed the burden onto their children. Though the academy couldn’t be solely for those cursed, it was structured to accommodate them. Including banning of holidays such as Valentine’s or White Day, strict regulations, an emphasis on proper behavior, and a babysitting club strictly for cursed children. Compared to the majority of the cursed, Ryuuichi broke his curse at a very early age. Namely when his brother was a few months old, (chapter 80.5), because he felt so completely loved. However, he maintained a specific ability of memory suppression that his father (who was also cursed, as well as his mother) taught him in order to protect themselves. This alongside his previous cursed status that still allows him to have contact with all cursed individuals (he won’t make them turn into an animal if he hugs them) was why Morinomiya Youko took him in. Or at least, that’s what she says to keep up appearances.

Chapter 125: Learning Numbers with Kotarou and Kami-cha

While Ryuuichi is left in the classroom trying to tutor Usokawa on Math (and totally not Hayato escaping from doing the tutoring), Hayato goes ahead to the daycare room to watch over and play with the kids.

As the other kids (and Usaida) take their nap, Hayato notices Kotarou still awake holding a book, and so proceeds to read to him 😄
