for export, select google drive (only, unless you also wanna export other stuff), which includes your whole google docs

for the export format, i recommend choosing .docx (fully editable, preserves formatting, smaller file size, easy to modify later, potential minor formatting shifts) or .pdf (exact visual preservation, universal compatibility, cannot be accidentally edited, professional look, not easily editable, larger file size, may lose some complex formatting)

go through all the required steps

i sent the export download link to my own email, it can take up to hours or days to arrive depending on export size (for me, it arrived within minutes)

once you've got your documents downloaded, you can upload them anywhere that's NOT FUCKING GOOGLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (i recommend cryptpad or ellipsus by @ellipsus-writes, though i haven't tested whether either have an easy upload function for multiple documents)
