I've been seeing a lot of Mikus, but I haven't seen a transformer Miku yet

So here's Miku Hatsunecron and her Mini Miku drones, here to take over the planet Earth as recompense for losing Cybertron

She's not really an Autobot or Decepticon since both sides are kinda responsible for Cybertron's destruction in the first place

Anyway. It's done. Now I just gotta find the time and energy to actually learn how to rig this thing and then do it.

The face, especially the mouth, is gonna be a pain. All the tutorials show how to rig a detailed anime face with somewhat realistic...ish lips.

I have to rig a literal ":3" face.

...I probably need to draw a few more mouths.

I’ve seen lots of cool drawings of Hatsune Miku drawn as if she's from the artist‘s home country, so I joined in! Here’s German Miku, except I didn’t draw her in cute traditional attire like many other artists did, but like she went to Aldi to get three crates of beer 💀

Whenever I boot up my laptop it's: *closes ten thousand windows that pop open before the pointer is even loaded* "Ah, time to play this game!- okay. Nevermind Steam needs an update. Ah! Now I can pl- the game needs an update too. Anyway, let's play this other game- aaand it also needs an update. Well then, I'm gonna play this old game that isn't updated anymore until the others are done."

*few rounds of said game later*

Pretty Pretty Please I Don't Want to be a Magical Girl

While I’d want this concept to mostly be a lighthearted comedy, since that’s more my forte, the north star (heh) of this premise would be the loss of passion for something you once loved, feeling the pressure/expectations of sticking with something that you’re “a prodigy” at and the subsequent burnout. How hard do you fight for an old passion or at what point do you just let it go? Is it even okay to give up when so many people are counting on you? 

Sounds bleak but I promise I’m an optimist and that will always reflect in my work :)

Btw I tried out oil pastels for the first time

Can't say I like them tbh.

They're really messy to work with and drawing details is hard, especially when you're working on a small scale like I tend to do. That being said, maybe the messy thing is just because I'm using the wrong paper (it's just a cheap sketchbook with black paper after all).

Also it's probably better for drawing landscapes and stuff. Not really what I usually draw

I don't think it's the right medium for me. But at least it was fun to try something new!

Ngl finding people who are fans of the same characters as you who you vibe with is so fricking hard when you're aroace because so fucking much is just shipping.

Like, I see fanart of a character I like and go "Ah! Another fan of Plinko!" And then I go to their profile and every other post is just about shipping "Plinko" with "Plonkus".

Ngl when I made that chibi base I never expected it to be so useful. Originally I just made it so I had something easy to try out my 3D pen...
