When he looks in the mirror, he’s not searching for flaws. He’s searching for an answer.
He stands there in that pose like he’s already won the battle with the world – or like he’s about to start another. His hair falls like a curtain over his shoulders, and his gaze turns inward, not outward. As if he isn’t trying to impress, but to contain something.
People used to ask if he was an actor. Or a wrestler. Something that would match his size. But none of that ever mattered to him. The body he’s built isn’t a costume – it’s a decision, a vow to himself. Every muscle is a promise: never to be made small again.
In the stillness – against a grey backdrop, alone with the shadow he casts – there’s something ancient in him. Like a fragment from another age.
He’s said goodbye to many things: to lightness, to the idea of ever going unnoticed, maybe even to tenderness. And yet he doesn’t feel cold. More like someone who’s buried emotion so deep that it only shows through tension.
People say bodies like his are about power. But what if it’s not about power – what if it’s about control? What if that downward gaze isn’t triumph, but restraint?
What do you think about when you make yourself this silent? When everything you’ve built answers with nothing but quiet?
