why is lake superior so dangerous? i cant find anything online that will give my access (not american!)

it's the largest freshwater lake on the planet by surface area, you could lose a couple of smaller countries in there and not even notice. (vs Europe)

on top of that, it's a Northern lake, so the water never really gets warmer than 50 F (10 C) even in the heat of summer, and it's famous for sudden violent storms that destroy ships and buildings alike. this thing has a MASSIVE body count because it's also a major shipping thoroughfare.

Deltarune chapter 4 splilers ahead

What's crazy about chapter 4 is that if I looked at the spectacle, the music, the theming and the writing, in any other game, I would tell you this is the final part of the game.

Like the game's main theme is in the areas theme and battle theme, any other game that would be endgame material. And I get it, the games theme is also the hym they sing in the chruch so of course it's in the dark world equivalent. The set peices in this chapter are bigger and longer then any before it, that rush right before and during the climbing of the titan really does feel like the entire world is ending

I love the flavor text during the Titan boss fight. "For a moment, you felt your heart griped" soo good

We fought a titan, I had assumed we wouldn't see one till the end.

I'm just so excited, if this is what Deltarune chapter 4 is like, what is chapter 5-7 going to be like??

Black Cherry update July 11, 2025

In my previous update I had said a couple things:

The rough draft of Volume 1 of Black Cherry is finished

I will start working on the final versions of each volume after all the roughs are done.

With some time, and a lot of thinking, I have decided to change my approach a bit

I'm rather frustrated with myself that there isn't much to show for Black Cherry publicly other then some teaser artwork and some promises about what will be.

So I have decided, I will instead complete the finals for Volume 1 first, and post it before moving onto Volume 2.

I have come to the conclusion that I would rather start posting the story now, and accept that my art style and vision for the story may change as it comes out.

Also I now understand there is a possibility that I never finish Black Cherry, many webcomics go that way, but I see it as unlikely because I already have the ending planned.

It's a hard, but necessary fact to accept that I as a single person who isn't getting paid for this, cannot run this webcomic like a professional comic, with regular monthly or weekly updates.

The exciting aspect of this is, I'm proud to announce that I will begin work on the first Volume of Black Cherry: The Dragon Curtain tomorrow!

The less exciting aspect is that Volume 2 may take awhile to come out.

In the coming days I will set up a website to host Black Cherry, but I will also make a Tumblr page that will host the comic as well.

I am excited for you all to meet Valentine and her friends soon.
