Dios permite que hoy cumplas un año más de vida, un año en el cual, sólo tú sabes cuánto has luchado, cuantas guerras internas y externas has batido, un año en el cual tú, solo tú, has vencido a todos tus demonios, siempre construyendo de a poco o mucho pero con paso constante y firme, siempre fiel a tus ideales y decisiones, siempre en tu nombre y nuestro apellido, siempre orgulloso de ti mismo, siempre portando nuestra estirpe y nuestra estampa, hoy precisamente alguien me recordó cuanto te pareces a nuestro padre, pero eres todo lo que debes ser, no solo el o nosotros, sino tú mismo, y eso me hace sentir tan orgullosos, no solo por llamarte hermano, sino por ver como te has convertido en un hombre de bien, que cuidas de ti y de tu y de todos sin mirar atrás, sin vislumbrar el pasado hermano, hoy me siento tan orgulloso de decirte hermano!!! So, after a year or so, 69 flights, 2 that just couldn’t get, 61k driven miles, 4 hospitals, 7 dps tickets, 2 irs blockages for being Mexican with a rodriguez as last name, 10 cities, 3 apartments, 7 classes, 2 bikes, 2 cars, 5 months of insomnia, 3 pay rate increase, 17 completed projects, here I am, by myself, again over an over again, still playin the same tune, still thinking and overthinking, still strong, still going, a little bit more human, a little bit more bald, a little bit more old, a little bit more wise, somehow, I’ve made it thru a whole lot of shit, but here i am, still facing bullets... stil... happy... the greatest gift of all lies within you... however, life will sit you, cause she wants to talk to you, but you don’t pay enough attention... but she talks to you, she speaks as loud as she can, jut to let you know some small things that you’ve just forgotten. And she hugs you, like no one else.
