Rin idly poked the tips of her index fingers together as she spoke. She didn’t even want to be this self conscious about something so simple, but she’s never been called out on her dialect before.

 Aw, shoot! It wasn’t exactly her intention to upset the cat-girl, after all she found the ‘nya’  mega-cute! & pearly-whites flash, a dazzling smile on display. “It’s totally adorable! I  really wanna steal it, but, it’d probably be super weird if I said it all the time, y’know?”

Yukiko smiles at the other, her expression softening at the sight of a customer. Her days at the Inn were always busy, but … nowadays, she welcomed the rush that had previously made her so embittered. She had to admit, honestly, she … Wasn’t really that fluent in English, but she knew enough (and at least enough to be able to help a client).

     “Welcome to the Amagi Inn. I’m afraid I only speak a little English, but I’ll still       do my best to help you. What’s your name?”

 A palm waves dismissively - she can’t exactly be angry at the female for not being able to  fluently speak English; if anything, people should be upset that she knows so little Japan-  ese. ( it’s so difficult to learn.... ) “It’s totally fine! Like, I couldn’t have expected you to  know a lot of English!” She giggles softly to herself, a lithe finger tapping on the counter.

 “Um, Belrose. Chloe, Belrose.”

           It’s hard to miss her, in truth. Foreigners stick out enough even when they don’t have hair the colour of straw, but she’s in his sights now, and tentative steps will bring  him closer (because he can’t just leave her like that, right?). A hand draws a handkerchief from his pocket and Yu holds it out to the stranger.

      “Are you … all right?” He asks in shaky English.

 She’s quite surprised by the male’s gesture & with some hesitance, she takes   the handkerchief from his grasp - delicately using it to dab at the area under-   neath her eyes. ( she’s proud at herself for having some foresight & wearing   waterproof mascara ). “Thank you.” A pause, she’s not sure if this person   wants his handkerchief back...or, not. ( does she wash it ? bring it back ?   it’s not as if she’s going to meet this person again - this is very confusing ). 

 “Unhuh, I’m okay. - I’m only a little sad, cause I wanted that plushie...” &   a slender finger attempts to direct the male’s attention to the display case.   ( she hopes he understands ).

の☆ → Taken by  surprised,  it  felt  like  her  heart   was eagerly trying to escape her chest cavity with   a vicious  pounding  escalating  to  it’s  peak;  her   entire person was ready to flop over  like  a  dead   water bug, “are ya’ trying to shorten my lifeline?”

 Confusion sets in & the model’s not quite positive on how to    respond..she was only offering a palm reading, after all. Did   her lack of make-up scare the other female? ( she doesn’t   recall being hideous ). “I’m sorry...I only wanted to read your   palms! I really didn’t mean to scare you, honest!”

 Defeated. Chloe has been ruined --- why is this crane game so difficult?  It’s quite sad....but, truth be told, she’s spent most of the money she has   on-hand. A few tears roll down her cheek - this isn’t fair. ( she doesn’t re-  call the machines in france being this hard ). “I just wanted that plushie in  the middle....”

it’s not a topic they haven’t been asked before, not at all, as their ears are quite smaller than those they know (how embarrassing!) quick to notice her own ears, blue eyes blinking.

          ‘ well, i… …hm,           i suppose i am,           then? ‘

 Hazel eyes go wide at the other’s confirmation --- mouth  agape, & she spends a few silent moments in this pose,  simply staring, before finding her voice. “You’re not joking  are you!?” & a palm grabs at the elf’s ( ?? ) arm, tugging  them closer. “Elves are real!? Really? - Tell me all about  you!”

                 no shame indeed, she was lucky that he’d not had his swords with                  him; otherwise this would have turned into a big mess. a short,                  inpatient sigh escaped him, a huff; as he turned to gaze down at the                  female. a frown present on his features.  ❛ hows about it’s none of                  your goddamn business…? i don’t owe you anything. ❜

  Huh, of course he’d a big old grump! Unfortunate, really - she only    wanted to have a nice chat...or, something along those lines. &     eyelashes bat, feigning surprise. ( chloe may be ditsy...but, she    was fully aware that the male would be angry ). “Aw, I’m sorry!    It looked like it hurt, & I couldn’t even imagine how something    like that happened! Did you get into a fight with a werewolf,    or something?”

 It’s peculiar, but, she’s always found longer hair on men to be super trendy! --  Like, not only does it go against social norms, which is cool in & of itself, but,  it simply looks totally adorbs! “Wow - Wow! Your hair - so long....it’s super  duper pretty!” & she can’t help, but, delicately pat the male’s head, a coy  smile curling at rose-tinted lips.

  Carbonated soda slips from the female’s grasp, tumbling to the ground   & spraying all over the young boy in front of her. She almost screams,   a high-pitched whine escaping her instead. “I’m so - sorry! I didn’t   mean to!”
