Hushed whispers in foreign tongues crowded in one dark room.
Nervous glances but confident words left their lips
And watched the pot glow green under their faces.
They had plans.
They had orders.
With vials in their hands they carried out the final step.
One drop,
Two drop,
Three drop four.
Until all of Hogwarts was under their spell.
It took all a matter of a half hour to have the entire Great Hall spiked and in an uproar about it. Even the Headmaster had confessed something he shouldn’t and found himself in an awkward position. With the loud chattering, it was hard to figure out what just happened but thankfully McGonagall brought up the possibility of a truth serum to Dumbledore, who then in return nodded in realization. He rose from his sat to speak to the students.
“Everyone please do not panic. It has seems that we’re all experiencing the effects of the Veritaserum, a truth serum that forces the drinker to answer direct questions truthfully.. This potion is illegal for all students and is under grounds of being expelled from this school. For now while we investigate, I hereby cancel future classes and extracurricular activities for the time being, suggesting to all off you to stay in your common rooms until Madam Pomfrey has made a cure. If you know the one responsible for this or are the one responsible for this, you are to immediately report this information to a Professor ... Thank you.”
