GS-002 Getting Started How To Build A Dashboard Feed That Fits Your Vibe
Your dashboard, or dash, is a chronological feed of posts from blogs you follow. No two dashboards are the same. To get your dashboard to reflect who you truly are inside, follow blogs you love. That’s a good start. Then follow interesting tags. Following tags puts posts that use those tags directly on your dashboard. Following tags ensures you’re getting tailored content from multiple sources.
It also gives you a unique feature similar to bookmarking a website. Now when you click the search bar, all the tags you follow will be featured. Here’s how to follow tags.
Desktop
Search a word in the top search bar> Press ENTER
You’ll be taken to a tag page where you have an option to follow the tag.
After you follow the tag, posts related to that tag will show up on your dashboard.
FYI: "Include followed tag posts" in your Dashboard Preferences needs to be activated for this. It's toggled on by default.
Tags you follow also show up when you click in the search bar.
Mobile
Tap the search icon at the bottom of the app
Search a tag in the top search bar >Click Go to #[the tag]
You can also go directly to a tag page by clicking the tag at the bottom of a post on the dashboard.
Tags you follow will also appear on the explore page
The more tags you follow, the more relevant content will show up on your dash. You can find more related tags and blogs to follow on the tag page.
