Week 15

I. We presented our pitch deck for our final presentation in technopreneurship. We got a good message from our instructor and encourage us to continue our idea.

II. In this course, I learned a lot on how to earn by creating a solution to a problem using science. I learned also the feeling of being rejected many times. I learned more a also with my team who are very hard working who also motivates me always. Hopefully, we can continue this idea with my team in the future. We are thankful to our instructor for teaching us on how to use the technology in an entrepreneurship world.

Week 14

I. We have our class with our instructor and this class is our final class for the sem. We have our lesson with our instructor which is all about the presentation for our final pitch. We are told by our instructor to prepare a pitch deck for our final pitch. The pitch will be composed of: Problem, Solution, Product, Target Market, Traction, Revenue model, Competition, Team, Ask , and Summary. Which is to pitch in only 5 mins per team.

Week 13

I. For this week, we discussed with the head of the bus terminal about revenue model. The head asked an assistance from the municipality about it and it makes us happy that the municipality would like to offer some money for it.

Week 12

I. Our instructor asked us to present our updates but unfortunately we haven't prepared a presentation yet which make our instructor a little upset and told us to ready always a presentation when presenting some updates. In any case, we just told our instructor about our updates through telling him from what we have done last week. We ordered a RFID sensor module in order for us to try test our system.

Week 11

I. On this week we have a lesson about the traction and we are tasked to create a traction to advertise our product. We used the Facebook platform because it is easy and fast their to advertise our product and we also gained some likes and followers in our system.

Week 10

I. For our midterm pitch, we presented our MVP and our system ideas. We also showed the bus operators that we had interviewed last week. Also, we showed the 2 competitors that we have locally, the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation(MPTC) and San Miguel Corporation(SMC). We showed the picture of us with the head approval to our system.

II. Our instructor approved our system and advised us to continue on researching about the RFID to create a better system.

Week 9

I. Due to holy week last week, we haven't made an interview in the terminal last week because many people went to vacation that's why it's very busy in the bus terminal. We decided to work with our MVP and presentations to present for our next class. And, we continued our meeting with my team in the google classroom.

II. We presented our updates to our instructor and Sir Bronson advised us instead of using computer vision, we are encouraged to use RFID which is a new locally. We are encouraged also to encouraged to interview more bus operators: Drivers, bus collectors, and conductors.

III. We have interviewed the said bus operators. And, we changed our system into RFID system. Our system has already existed in the market locally in other region, in Luzon but we have only two competitors so far. Our competitors are MPTC and SMC.

Week 8

I.

Since, we cant find a private school that have a budget for our system, we decided to move on into another problem. And, luckily we found a problem that needs our help. We found the problem in balingasag terminal. We interviewed a clerk in the terminal and she told us the problems they have. There are two types of problem that we found there in the terminal. First, is the belongings that are left by the passengers. Second, is the payment of some bus operators and this is the main problem of the clerk because it affects their revenue every month. We Allotech, proposed a solution, a system that will help them on their problems in the terminal. Our solution for their problem is also a computer vision. The arrival of the bus and the departure will be record by the system to have a contact to the bus that have the belongings. And, to get the bus number of the bus that haven't paid yet.

Week 7

I. On this week, we presented our topic to our instructor. We updated our idea about the face recognition system. And, our instructor asked us about if we had some background in computer vision and we answered that we already have. Our instructor advised us to have an interview in private school because their is a budget issue when it comes to public schools because it is a government, their might be a circumstances that it will not pay on time. Hence, we have to conduct an interview again into another school which is a private elementary school. After the session, we decided with my groupmates to have a meeting in google meet.

||. With my groupmates, we search for private elementary schools with their heads available. We conduct an interview and we haven't a chance to meet the head in the schools because they are too busy. We tried came to schools and we failed to reach the heads. We went home and decided to have a meeting with my group in google meet.

Week 6

I. On this week, we went to the elementary school and conduct again an interview. We headed to the office of the school head to ask about the problem of the school. We asked to the Principal about the problem of the teachers and she answered to us that they already give some consequences to the students that did some tardiness in the school and also she said that they can drop out the student if they have to because their attitudes. The school head proposed a problem and it is about the Parents that went to school. For security purposes, the school needs a system that can monitor the parents that came to school. After the school head give a problem, we then ended our discussion and we talk with my group first for the solution.

||. We discussed with my group and we came up into a good solution for the problem of the school head. We proposed a solution and it is a face recognition system, to record the face and the names of the parents and guardians that went to school in the system. This solution will help the school for its safety and security. The school head approved the solution and told us that with the help of its stakeholders, they will provide a budget in making of the system. We then went home with my groupmates with a big smile on our face.

Week 5

I. After discussing in google meet, we decide with my groupmates to disregard the Agrifind and we proceed to another topic. As a guardian to my niece, an idea came up to my mind that we will focus now to school on the tardiness of some students. We asked the teachers of what is their problem at the school. Some answered that the absences and cutting classes of the students is their problem at the school. Some answered that there are students that don't make their assignments and ended up getting low grades. We decided to give a solution for their problem and this is mobile app that will help schools and teachers control attendance, connect with parents, and track student performance to address the issue of class cutting and weariness among elementary and high school students. For the first session of our class, we presented our new topic into the class and our instructor gave advise that this solution of ours already existed and it is called Wela. For the next session of the week, we are tasked to elaborate of how our solution is different from the existed product.

II. We presented and our solution still doesn't make sense how it is different from the existing product. After the session we decided to have a discussion in google meet with my groupmates. After our discussion with my group, we decided to focus only to the elementary school. We then ended our discussion.

Week 4

I. For this week we did an interview in Agora for our topic about agrifind. We asked vendors of vegetables in Agora Terminal to of their problem in transporting their goods and most of them replied that they don't really have a problem in buying from their seller because they already have a contact to them. Price varies when the supply is in demand because of climate change and also when the price of the gasoline in the market rise up, the goods also rise up.

||. We cannot proceed to Smartfix because the problem is not that a really problem to the user nowadays and for the PEPP the owners are unreachable.

III. We tried to ask problems in the customer service of Savemore but they are not allowing us to perform an interview to the store because it is against from their terms and services because the staff their are too busy to give time for the interview and the owner their is out of the country. We also asked the RTA and Police officers from their problem and both of them seems have common problems it's about traffic and the people that don't wear helmet in riding motorcycle. They advised us to went to their office to ask but we decided to have a meeting first. After that, we went home and continue our meetings with my group through google meet.

Week 3

I. For this week, we made a video that is entitled as rejection therapy. This task is by pair and both of us should be rejected three times. Before doing this task, we felt a little worried to be rejected by many and the shame flooded my thoughts but in the first place it is the purpose of this video. Hence, I removed the shame in my thoughts and act brave in doing this video.

II. After doing our video, we proceed on discussing our ideas and went to have an interview. We presented again our ideas to our instructor for the last session of the week and again we are told to gather more data to be more valid.

Week 2

I. This week is the week that I had my groupmates in technopreneurship. However, before forming a group, our instructor first discussed to us the introduction to technology Entrepreneurship for our first session in this subject. So for our assignment Our instructor assigned us to form a group our of 3 to 4 members. My groupmates in techno are Abao, Oyan, and Orina. After forming a group, we are then tasked to make a video which is entitled rejection therapy and present three ideas.

||. For the second session of the week we presented our top three ideas to the class, our group name is team-abao but we are also called ALOOtech "ALOO" word is just the merged of our surname's initial and "tech" means technology. The name of our 3 ideas that we presented in this week is AgriFind, SmartFix, and PEPP. Our instructor did not reject us into the ideas that we presented but, we have to make changes to make it to be more valid and marketable.

Week 1: This Is Me

Welcome to my blog! Are you having a good time in your life right now? I am Hoping you're okay! Let me introduce myself. Hello, my name is Marck S. Laurente, that is my full name and also you can call me on my nickname, yongpal or yong for short. Nice to meet you! I am 22 years old and currently living dependently on my sister's house because I am now already an orphan. Despite of being an orphan, I am not that worried much and I am living my life to the fullest. Even though, it is hard sometimes but, I am trying hard to be the best because "to be the best, you must first handle the worst" is what always I put into my mind and heart. Therefore, let us do great things and make our dream come true. Everyday is our beginning, our starting point in finding the meaning of life since we don't know what lies on tomorrow because it is a mystery and yesterday is a history but today is a gift that is why it is called present. Let us all rise up and heads up for ourselves, let us be brave and trust the process. Let us believe into ourselves because this is us, this is me.

Moreover, to know more about myself I had taken some tests that my instructor given to us in our technopreneurship course that I enrolled in. In this test, I came to realized that I am lacking a little in trusting people because most of the times I trust myself a lot more because after becoming an orphan, I started on becoming more independent than relying more on others since I have no more parents supporting anymore financially and my sister doesn't support me that much on it. I have also a little comfort zone because I am living currently with my sister, I am more of the times distracted. However, these two won't change me as long as I believe myself, I still can have a self-development.

In this test, I got consul which has a hospitality and good manners. This result is on point to me for my personality because I cared for someone that needs help as long as I can because I rather be a generous person than to be an arrogant person.
