This Cheesy Potato Tart has the rich flavor of mascarpone cheese and the earthy taste of potatoes. The spicy paprika, sour Dijon mustard, and fragrant thyme make the flavors even better. It's a tasty treat that's great for any event.
Ingredients: 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed. 3 medium potatoes, thinly sliced. 1 cup mascarpone cheese. 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet. Then, place it in a tart pan and cut off any extra pastry. Add the Dijon mustard, paprika, thyme leaves, and mascarpone cheese to a bowl. Mix them together. The cheese mixture should be spread out evenly on the bottom of the pie crust. Place the potato slices on top of the cheese mixture so that they overlap a bit. Add pepper and salt. Put it in an oven that has already been heated up and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are soft and the pastry is golden brown. If you want, you can serve it warm and top it with extra thyme leaves.
