Had to rewatch this episode so I could write all my thoughts down. So first of all the start of the episode was just meh. Buck and Maddie 🥹. Why are Athena and Chimney arguing 😒. Ugh I’m definitely not a fan of how they’ve brought Gerrard back like no one cares about him. The character is better as an asshole that everyone hates than this “nicer” version of him. “I’m your captain” “ Only because I killed our last one so I’d be very careful if I were you” yess chimney get him. When Athena is talking to Bobby about the case, yeah I started crying 😭. Hen comforting Athena 😭. Yayyy Eddie is here!!! Now I’m just crying non stop for the rest of the episode 😭😭💔💔. Despite the circumstances Athena looks so good and May too 🥰. Also I really wished they’d recasted Michael because he was Bobby’s bestie and 100% would’ve been there. Him being laid to rest next to his family and Athena saying goodbye had me sobbing 😭😭💔💔. Also I was lowkey hoping that Bobby wouldn’t actually be dead and rise from the grave but nah that didn’t happen 🤡

it's so fucking unfair. they only had five years married together. they should have had decades. they should have seen each other with deep wrinkles etched on their faces from years of smiling and laughing together. they should have been in the nursing home, seeking out adventures because larry down the hall is definitely running an illegal gambling ring out of his suite. they should have retired together, searched for hobbies to fill their time. they should have laughed with michael and david, athena and david groaning as bobby and michael defeat them in board games again and again. they should have seen their family expand, watched grandchildren grow together, from may or harry or buck. or they should have gone out together, because that's where they've been for five years, holding up each other up, supporting each other. but it's not fair. and athena's alone.

Finally watched the new episode of 911 and even though I already knew what was gonna happen I was still 😭😭😭 and I know I’m gonna cry the next episode too. Why did they have to kill him off!? Why couldn’t they just let Bobby retire and live happily ever after with Athena 😭😭💔
