Actor Jonathan Joss was just murdered for being gay and married to a trans man. On the first day of pride 2025. He was best known for playing John Redcorn on King of the Hill. He was proudly indigenous, often playing indigenous roles. He was Comanche and white mountain apache.

I had no idea he was gay but he was married to a trans man named Tristan Kern de Gonzales (on valentines day 2025!)

They lived in San Antonio Texas where his family is from and he grew up, originally in the house his father built in 1957. He was 59.

In Janurary 2025 his home was burned down which made news. It killed some of his beloved dogs. He didnt elaborate beyond he believed it was arson (gofundme is still up and i suggest donating to help his funeral costs and his husband

Now we know he and his husband had been threatened by several neighbors for being queer. They told pigs, pigs being pigs did nothing before or after it happened.

As they weeped and mourned in shock, a neighbor, Sigfredo Alvarez Ceja, was sitting waiting with a shotgun on his porch. When yelled at he aimed at de Gonzales…but Joss jumped in front of the bullet and was almost instantly killed.

Ceja, homophobic murdering coward, tried to take off but de Gonzales had called pigs who vaguely tried to do something. He was arrested and his bail set for $200k. Or as my sister said who the fuck sets bail for a murderer?

This is why we need pride people, and not rainbow capitalism. Please donate to the gofundme and let san antonio cops knows what you think. De Gonzales said multiple neighbors had threatened them…id like to see those people investigated for arson.

Which explains the ramp up of hate and why the murderer shot at de Gonzales (Joss pushed him out of the way). So this is also a transphobia related murder

Update day 2:

Its reported he and his husband called pigs once a day for half a year regarding threats and harassment. Many seem to think he stayed only because the house meant something, and while thats certainly a factor he likely couldnt afford to leave based on various interviews.

He acted erratically the last night before his murder, making extremely dark jokes and saying he was harassed for being gay during some king of the hill events.

He also joked that his ex wife had said no one would believe him because of his history of addiction and mental health issues.

Im not a doctor but i do have cptsd and his actions strongly sound like someone suffering from it. Abusers/harassers often hit people who wont be believed/wont be believed for the level of whats going on and it sounds like that to me.

His husband has stated he wants Joss’ work remembered. He also said anyone weaponizing his past issues to justify his death are not real fans or friends. One person justified the washed reporting as ‘well he had issues who knows’ never mind the information was coming from his husband who was there and is not known to have any mental health issues.

We take care of our own. I want Joss and his work to be remembered and his murderer brought to justice. Im hoping to see some beautiful fan art and mentions of him every pride…he is exactly why we cant give up fighting

Homeless LGBT couple needs help!!!

Hello again.

My family has been homeless for quite a bit and things got especially difficult when I lost my job. I've been actively looking for work but it's difficult to find anything that will help our situation without certain certifications (which I am actively working on getting). In the mean time, I've been very sick and the medical equipment I recently got from my doctor requires that I have nightly access to electricity so we need shelter. My wife and I have been struggling physically and emotionally and morale is dangerously low.

Right now, I am asking for help keeping our little family sheltered and fed while I recover and while we both look for work. We also have important bills that will cause us no end of trouble if they lapse. Any help is greatly appreciated as things have been getting a lot harder as summer approaches. And remember, they consider depictions of gay characters and transgenders characters "pornography" in any context, including platonic.

They have been working on this for a decade now and it has been working.

If you are one of the people in fandom who thinks that "nasty" porn on AO3 should be banned because it's "icky" or "immoral", then this mental scam is working on you.

Emergency Commissions

Hi guys. as some of you know I am currently having an issue with a buyer who wrongfully accused me of not sending their product. They filed a dispute with paypal and now i have a negative balance of almost 400 dollars. commissions are my only form of income and i have called paypal twice and submitted evidence but it can take up to 75 days for them to come to a resolution. I was also charged a 15 dollar dispute fee.

That being said i need to open emergency comms.
