small psa (which probably only applies to kiran and fae) but i do like to talk about the romances that are important to these characters but this doesn't mean i'm a) trying to force a ship with applicable blogs or b) only open to ships with these characters. I am EXTREMELY flexible when it comes to shipping but I do get really excited when I think about these romances in relation to what they mean for my characters but these are not the be all an end all. I'm trying to get over the guilt of talking about them for the previous reasons above but i cannot pretend these relationships aren't important to how i think about these characters??? i hope that makes sense. Fae has extremely complicated feelings about Solas and will always have these weird feelings. She mourns the friendship they could have had and blames herself, wondering if she could have done more. This is partially why she becomes a lot more hardened in the future due to the loss and guilt she experiences.

it's not so much a headcanon then a fun fact about Fae's walk through. In good Lavellan fashion, she had some confusing feelings about Solas and kissed him in the fade. However, she didn't feel it would work out and valued him as a friend. Plus, she was starting to really fall for Blackwall at this point and needed to make a decision.
