Hey gang, not the normal stuff, but just a journal of thoughts

After a late night convo where I expressed some insecurities, my partner told me that they loved me, and that they loved my body. They thought I was handsome and beautiful, which I haven’t heard much from others in any sense.

And since then, I’ve been taking photos of myself throughout my day with way more confidence than before.

It wasn’t just of my face, it was of my body too. Suddenly I didn’t just take one and frown when I saw it. Or take a million to get it right of anything

I just took it in the moment without thought and went back to what I was doing.

And what I found was that some were blurry, and some didn’t have a great angle or whatnot. But the majority I liked, I liked my smile. My face. My body. Once I stopped worrying, and managed to capture the energy of the moment rather than a pose I was sure would look better, I started to like how I looked. My photos made me smile because of fun memories, and I loved them so much more.

I took a photo with a frog I found while working today. And it was captured right as it jumped from my hand and made me laugh. It certainly wasn’t a practiced pose and measured expression to make sure my face looked right. But as soon as I pushed down the insecurity and reminded myself of what they had said, I found myself smiling at the funny photo.

I'm back from my Christmas break from tumblr. I see the bots have taken over, joyus day for all.

sometimes plushies make me cry because it’s like. they’re little guys made to be loved. their only purpose is to be held and hugged and loved. we made them because we love making things and we love loving things. and they’re so cute

It's a bunny day again today!

I've been bouncing all over the place, project to project today. Can't possibly focus on one thing.

So I figured I'd just do it all

Make a start, yknow? Because even when you know you can't fully commit to something some days, you can still at least start it!

A neko that's upset.

Laying in bed with their tail tucked around them and their ears back.

They're making tiny little whines, mostly to express their emotions, but more likely a way of making it known they're upset, and require attention.

It's not that hard to cheer up a sad neko, if you pet just the right spot on their head they'll be purring again in no time! I'm a firm believer that a cuddle or two will fix almost anything, love is weird like that.
