                                              “Android”
Android is a mobile operating system developed by Google, based on the Linux kernel and designed primarily for touchscreen mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Android's user interface is mainly based on direct manipulation, using touch gestures that loosely correspond to real-world actions, such as swiping, tapping and pinching, to manipulate on-screen objects, along with a virtual keyboard for text input.
In addition to touchscreen devices, Google has further developed Android TV for televisions, Android Auto for cars, and Android Wear for wrist watches, each with a specialized user interface. Variants of Android are also used on game consoles, digital cameras, PCs and other electronics.
Initially developed by Android Inc., which Google bought in 2005, Android was unveiled in 2007, along with the founding of the Open Handset Alliance – a consortium of hardware, software, and telecommunication companies devoted to advancing open standards for mobile devices. Beginning with the first commercial Android device in September 2008, the operating system has gone through multiple major releases, with the current version being 8.0 "Oreo", released in August 2017.
Android applications ("apps") can be downloaded from the Google Play store, which features over 2.7 million apps as of February 2017. Android has been the best-selling OS on tablets since 2013, and runs on the vast majority of smartphones. As of May 2017, Android has two billion monthly active users, and it has the largest installed base of any operating system.

              “Disadvantages and risks of technology”
On the other hand, the evolution of modern technology has disadvantages, for example, dependence on new technology. Man no longer needs to think. Even if the calculator is a good invention, man no longer makes mental calculation and no longer works his memory. The decline of human capital implies an increase in unemployment. In some areas, devices can replace the human mind.
The use of technology certainly needs rule and new laws. For example internet use is an individual freedom. However, the invention of the atomic bomb cannot be an individual freedom. In fact, regulations are difficult to implement when these technologies are introduced – such as regulation surrounding the impending arrival of autonomous vehicles.
Finally, as most technological discoveries aim to reduce human effort, it would imply that more work is done by machines. This equates to less work for people: the human is becoming ever so obsolete by the day, as processes become automated and jobs are made redundant.

“What are the disadvantages of the Internet?”
Although the Internet is one of man's greatest creations, it also has many disadvantages. Below is a complete list of all of the disadvantages of the Internet.
Bullying, trolls, stalkers, and crime
Anyone who has spent time on the Internet has encountered trolls or abusive people. With the highly-social nature of the modern Internet, the instances of cyber bullying are sadly not uncommon.
Exploitation and pornography and violent images
With the speed and ease of communicating on the Internet, it also makes it much easier for those who prey on others to find people to exploit. It also makes it much easier for someone to pretend they are someone else, the opposite sex, or younger than they are to find others to exploit.
Addiction, time waster, and causes distractions
The Internet and games played on the Internet can become very addictive and are often designed to be addictive. With how addictive games can be and how much entertainment is on the Internet it is easy to spend a lot of time on the Internet without doing anything productive.
Never being able to disconnect
The Internet is perfect for giving everyone the ability to work from anywhere. However, that also means that it may be expected that you are available to work even if you are not supposed to be working.
Identity theft, hacking, viruses, and cheating
With access to billions of people and computers, it makes it easier for computer hackers and malicious users to hack accounts and steal personal information that could be used for identity theft.
Spam and advertising
It's great that the Internet can be an easy way to reach a much wider audience than traditional advertising methods (e.g. Newspaper, TV, and Radio).
Affects focus and patience
The sites we use on the Internet every day have an "instant gratification" effect. They also present an infinite menu of things to think about and experience at any moment, on demand.
Depression, loneliness, and social isolation
Social networking sites can also lead to depression with many people when all you see is the best of all your friend's lifes you may start to wonder why your life is not as good as theirs.
Health issues and obesity
As with watching too much TV, spending too much time on the computer surfing the Internet or playing games can also lead to obesity and an unhealthy lifestyle.
Buying things not needed
The Internet makes it so easy to buy things that it can be easy to buy things on the Internet without putting much thought into if you need what you are buying.

“Advantages and Disadvantages of Websites For Business”
Reaching a Wider Audience
The first and perhaps most obvious advantage of a business website is the potential for reaching a wider audience. The internet is used by literally millions of people, all of them are looking for something and some of them might be looking for you!
Anyone, Anywhere & Anytime
An advantage of having a website is your business information and details about your products and services can be accessed by anyone, no matter where they are on the planet or what time of day it is.
Easy Access To Business Information
With a website, customers can easily access information about your business. They can see what products or services you sell, your prices, your location and much more.
Keeping It Fresh
Once a website is designed, you can keep it up-to-date to be relevant to your business and encourage more visitors (and potential sales).
Publicity & Advertising
You may think of the advantages of a website in terms of advertising and publicity for your business.
Links From Others & Viral Marketing
With a website and the current use of social media and marketing, it is quite possible for a good idea, clever product or business service to go “viral”.
Securing Your Brand Online
Having a website for your business is not just an advantage; it’s an essential way to protect your business brand online.
Disadvantages of a Business Website
There are a few disadvantages of having a website for your business. Generally though, they are outweighed by numerous advantages.
Reliability
The information on your website might be unreliable if not updated on a regular basis.
Crashes & Uptime
A website that crashes is no good to anyone. This is a serious disadvantage for a business.
Difficultly Reaching The Right People
Because of the nature of the internet and the sheer number of businesses already on the World Wide Web, you may find it difficult to reach the right target audience with your website.
SPAM
We all hate spam. The internet equivalent of junk mail. This is one of the disadvantages of a website which can cause you some grief.
Bad Publicity
Having a website risks attracting bad publicity. If a customer is unhappy with your service or products, then they may feel the need to vent their frustrations online and reference your website in their review/comments.
Taking Advantage of a Business Websites
As you can see, the advantages of a business website far outweigh the disadvantages. The potential for business exposure, advertising and increased sales should be too good for any business to pass up.

                               “Plagiarism”
Plagiarism is the act of taking another person`s writing, conversation, song , or even idea and passing it off as your own. Including a source within the text you paraphrased, summarized, or copied verbatim from a book or website is must to avoid  plagiarism. Citing the source in the bibliography or references section is not enough.
As what Khan R. (2015) indicate in one of her books, you do not have you start from scratch to avoid plagiarism. Using other peoples`s  knowledge is inevitable most especially when doing research. We need to accept the fact that all knowledge is built upon previous knowledge. It is through learning from the knowledge and ideas of others that one can be equipped to build ideas of his/her own.
There are 3 style guidelines or citation available that will show you how to properly cite source:
1. Modern Language Association (MLA)
2. American Psychological Association (APA)
3. Turubian

“Sex and Violence in the Media”
Sex and violence are common occurences in the media and with the available exposure kids have to media, their behavior, perceptions and personalities can be easily influenced and distorted.
What media is reaching my children?
In today’s society, the average child watches four hours of television every day; listens to music between four and five hours; and plays video games up to seven hours a week.
Television watching is a favorite activity for kids; however, T.V. alone is estimated to be responsible for motivating at least10 percent of youth violence. Although some stations contain ratings for shows, it is important to keep in mind they are not always age appropriate.
Violent video games are the most heavily marketed and consumed games. Exposure to violent video games is has shown to increase levels of aggression in both young adults and children.
Music today sometimes contains very explicit lyrics that often reference sex, drugs, alcohol, and violence. Heavy metal and rap music are known to glorify violence and some artists have been charged with violent crimes in real life, which can distort children’s views of the real consequences that follow certain behavior.
What are the dangers of exposure to sex and violence in the media??
Younger children tend to model behavior they see and don’t always understand the difference between reality and entertainment; therefore, exposure to sex and violence through the media’s influence can:
Cause aggressive or anti-social behavior. Media can promote aggressive behavior and can also influence children to believe violence is a good solution to solve problems.
Create a false sense of reality. Young children can’t always discriminate between real life situations and behaviors and surreal television examples.
Encourage irresponsible sexual activity. Kids exposed to sex on TV are almost twice as likely to initiate sexual intercourse.
Cause a child to perceive the world as more dangerous and have a darker view about the world.
Desensitize and cause a lack of empathy for human suffering.
Distort expectations of conflict resolution, race and male-female relationships.
What can you do to help protect you child from the negative effects of the media?
Media is everywhere but there are ways to help protect your children from the harmful effects:
Monitor what your child is watching.
Set limits on their exposure to TV, radio and video games.
Talk with your child about what they see and hear. It might be awkward but if you don’t talk to them, the media may be their only other source of information.
Help them develop realistic perceptions of the roles sex and violence have in society.
Encourage activities OTHER than watching TV or playing video games that allow them practice pro-social behavior.

         “Positive Media Influence On Teens”
1. Help Develop Awareness:
Most teens live a sheltered life. But with exposure to various media outlets, they can develop awareness about society and the world. This cultural and political awareness is vital if we want to groom a generation of socially responsible citizens.
2. Help Develop Social Skills:
Many teens are socially awkward. Media gives them the chance to groom their social skills. It also gives them the chance to expand their social circle and develop new friendships. Other benefits include social confidence, heightened literacy in the media, and more social support.
3. Inspire Them:
When your teen watches an action flick, don’t just despair about the violence. With a little guidance, they can use the movie as inspiration! Maybe your teen will decide to take up martial arts training, all thanks to a Bruce Lee movie! Teenagers look up to celebrities, and when a celebrity tells them to stay off drugs, they just might listen.
4. Help Fine Tune Motor Skills:
Video games draw a lot of flak these days. But there’s some good in video games too! There are a few video games that can help teens develop and fine-tune their motor skills and coordination.
5. Help Develop Reading And Writing Skills:
When a celebrity talks of her favorite book, your teenager might be tempted to grab a book too. Not just that, if your teenager wants to be a part of blogs, chat rooms, etc., she’ll need to improve her reading and writing skills.

“7 negative effects of social media”
A false sense of connection
Since the introduction of social media, there’s been an increase in less real-life conversations. More people are building relationships online and drifting away from the real world. The more we post, comment and like, the more we feel closer to other people (whether or not we know them in person). Phones are smart enough to become a studio of conversation with people across the world. When was the last time you had a real chat with your neighbor?
Privacy
“Check-in, at home, on the couch, with my popcorns, watching Star-Wars”.
Social media is encouraging people to become more public with their private lives, users are easily giving out information they could never reveal on a face-to-face conversation.
Decreased productivity
“A journey of a thousand sites begins with a single click”.
Social media can either increase or decrease productivity. It all begins with a single click of searching for some very important content, and then you come across a curious post about the first man on Mars, you ‘accidently’ click on it.
The disability to think independently
An HP Lab’s computer scientists study revealed that more users are influenced to change their way of thinking based on the majority rule – their online circle.
It might make you spend more money
“It’s not about ‘don’t spend time on Facebook’, but just be aware of what it might be doing to you”, Professor Keith Wilcox, Columbia University.
More business is entering the social media world and it is luring more consumers to buy products online.
It modifies your appetite
A study from Women’s Health reveals, more people tend to feel hungry after they’ve viewed a couple of ItsFoodPorn images online.
Online-Offline influences
A lot of people enjoy online entertainment just as much as they enjoy online shopping.

“HOW TO MAKE MONEY WITH SOCIAL MEDIA”
1. Promote affiliate products.
No matter what industry you're in, you can find great products to promote on ClickBank. And if that doesn't quite jive with you, you can also become an Amazon Associate, promote products of your choosing and earn commissions on them -- Amazon has no shortage of products.
2. Create and promote your own information products.
If you already have a blog, and you've demonstrated your expertise on a specific subject over a period of time, there may be an opportunity to create an ebook, audio program or video course and sell it to your audience. Social media is the perfect place to promote such a product.
3. Promote products and services.
There are many opportunities for you to share sponsored posts that promote the products and services of other businesses. This is a very direct way of earning money from social media.
4. Use visual media to promote your crafts.
If you tend to create handmade crafts, art pieces, or even articles of clothing and knitting, there may be an opportunity to showcase your products on social media. Instagram and Pinterest may seem like obvious places to hit, but Facebook, Twitter and Google+ are also great channels for sharing visual media.
5. Promote your coaching or consulting services.
Social media is a great place to generate leads for your consulting business. Whether you're a guitar teacher or a life coach, if you have demonstrated expertise in a specific area, you can create more interest for your services by connecting with your target customer on social media.
6. Join the YouTube Partner Program
Building a popular YouTube channel can be a lot of work. But if you already have a following, or you're determined to build your audience, joining the YouTube Partner Program to make money on advertising might be a path worth exploring.

What is Media Literacy?
For centuries, literacy has referred to the ability to read and write. Today, we get most of our information through an interwoven system of media technologies. The ability to read many types of media has become an essential skill in the 21st Century. Media literacy is the ability to access, analyze, evaluate, and create media. Media literate youth and adults are better able to understand the complex messages we receive from television, radio, Internet, newspapers, magazines, books, billboards, video games, music, and all other forms of media. Media literacy skills are included in the educational standards of every state—in language arts, social studies, health, science, and other subjects.  Many educators have discovered that media literacy is an effective and engaging way to apply critical thinking skills to a wide range of issues.
Media Literacy Project’s approach to media literacy education comes from a media justice framework. Media Justice speaks to the need to go beyond creating greater access to the same old media structure. Media Justice takes into account history, culture, privilege, and power. We need new relationships with media and a new vision for its control, access, and structure. Media Justice understands that this will require new policies, new systems that treat our airways and our communities as more than markets.
Media literacy skills can help youth and adults:
- Develop critical thinking skills - Understand how media messages shape our culture and society - Identify target marketing strategies - Recognize what the media maker wants us to believe or do - Name the techniques of persuasion used - Recognize bias, spin, misinformation, and lies - Discover the parts of the story that are not being told - Evaluate media messages based on our own experiences, skills, beliefs, and values - Create and distribute our own media messages - Advocate for media justice

“List of Disadvantages of Computer Networking” 1. It lacks independence.      Computer networking involves a process that is operated using computers, so people will be relying more of computer work, instead of exerting an effort for their tasks at hand. Aside from this, they will be dependent on the main file server, which means that, if it breaks down, the system would become useless, making users idle. 2. It poses security difficulties.      Because there would be a huge number of people who would be using a computer network to get and share some of their files and resources, a certain user’s security would be always at risk. There might even be illegal activities that would occur, which you need to be careful about and aware of. 3. It lacks robustness.      As previously stated, if a computer network’s main server breaks down, the entire system would become useless. Also, if it has a bridging device or a central linking server that fails, the entire network would also come to a standstill. To deal with these problems, huge networks should have a powerful computer to serve as file server to make setting up and maintaining the network easier. 4. It allows for more presence of computer viruses and malware.      There would be instances that stored files are corrupt due to computer viruses. Thus, network administrators should conduct regular check-ups on the system, and the stored files at the same time. 5. Its light policing usage promotes negative acts.      It has been observed that providing users with internet connectivity has fostered undesirable behavior among them. Considering that the web is a minefield of distractions—online games, humor sites and even porn sites—workers could be tempted during their work hours. The huge network of machines could also encourage them to engage in illicit practices, such as instant messaging and file sharing, instead of working on work-related matters. While many organizations draw up certain policies on this, they have proven difficult to enforce and even engendered resentment from employees. 6. It requires an efficient handler.      For a computer network to work efficiently and optimally, it requires high technical skills and know-how of its operations and administration. A person just having basic skills cannot do this job. Take note that the responsibility to handle such a system is high, as allotting permissions and passwords can be daunting. Similarly, network configuration and connection is very tedious and cannot be done by an average technician who does not have advanced knowledge. 7. It requires an expensive set-up.
Though computer networks are said to be an inexpensive system when it is already running, its initial set up cost can still be high depending on the number of computers to be connected. Expensive devices, such as routers, switches, hubs, etc., can add up to the cost. Aside from these, it would also need network interface cards (NICs) for workstations in case they are not built in.

“List of Advantages of Computer Networking”
1. It enhances communication and availability of information. Networking, especially with full access to the web, allows ways of communication that would simply be impossible before it was developed. Instant messaging can now allow users to talk in real time and send files to other people wherever they are in the world, which is a huge boon for businesses. Also, it allows access to a vast amount of useful information, including traditional reference materials and timely facts, such as news and current events.
2. It allows for more convenient resource sharing. This benefit is very important, particularly for larger companies that really need to produce huge numbers of resources to be shared to all the people. Since the technology involves computer-based work, it is assured that the resources they wanted to get across would be completely shared by connecting to a computer network which their audience is also using.
3. It makes file sharing easier. Computer networking allows easier accessibility for people to share their files, which greatly helps them with saving more time and effort, since they could do file sharing more accordingly and effectively.
4. It is highly flexible. This technology is known to be very flexible, as it gives users the opportunity to explore everything about essential things, such as software without affecting their functionality. Plus, people will have the accessibility to all information they need to get and share.
5. It is an inexpensive system. Installing networking software on your device would not cost too much, as you are assured that it lasts and can effectively share information to your peers. Also, there is no need to change the software regularly, as mostly it is not required to do so.
6. It increases cost efficiency. With computer networking, you can use a lot of software products available on the market which can just be stored or installed in your system or server, and can then be used by various workstations.
7. It boosts storage capacity. Since you are going to share information, files and resources to other people, you have to ensure all data and content are properly stored in the system. With this networking technology, you can do all of this without any hassle, while having all the space you need for storage.

Programming may refer to:
Broadcast programming, scheduling content for television
Computer programming, the act of instructing computers to perform tasks
Dramatic programming, fictional television content
Mathematical programming, or optimization, is the selection of a best element
Neuro-linguistic programming, a pseudoscientific method aimed at modifying human behavior
Programming (music), generating music electronically
Radio programming, scheduling content for radio
Programming language, an artificial language designed to communicate instructions to a machine
Game programming, the software development of video games
“Computer programming”
Computer programming is a process that leads from an original formulation of a computingproblem to executable computer programs. Programming involves activities such as analysis, developing understanding, generating algorithms, verification of requirements of algorithms including their correctness and resources consumption, and implementation of algorithms in a target programming language. Source code is written in one or more programming languages. The purpose of programming is to find a sequence of instructions that will automate performing a specific task or solving a given problem. The process of programming thus often requires expertise in many different subjects, including knowledge of the application domain, specialized algorithms, and formal logic.
Related tasks include testing, debugging, and maintaining the source code, implementation of the build system, and management of derived artifacts such as machine code of computer programs. These might be considered part of the programming process, but often the term software development is used for this larger process with the term programming, implementation, or coding reserved for the actual writing of source code. Software engineering combines engineering techniques with software development practices.
