Day 4 – 35 Burgers a Day, 97 Days Left

“I can’t do this, man.”

Kevin held a burger in each hand, his jaws unmoving. In front of him, a mountain of 33 more perfectly arranged hamburgers. The camera was set, the lighting adjusted, the timer ready. His coach, Daniel, leaned against the wall, arms crossed, watching him with an uncompromising expression.

“Oh, yes, you can,” Daniel said firmly.

Kevin snorted, his chest rising and falling heavily. “My physique is going to hell. Do you see this?” He slapped his stomach. “I’ve already got a gut. Three days, man! What am I gonna look like after 100? This is the craziest dirty bulk ever!”

Daniel shrugged. “You should’ve thought of that before challenging the internet.”

Kevin gritted his teeth. “It was a joke!”

“Well, your followers took it seriously. And now? You’ve gained more subscribers in three days than in the last two years. You’re a phenomenon, Kevin. You’re not seriously throwing that away?”

Kevin squeezed his eyes shut. His stomach already felt tight. The first day was funny. The second, tough. The third, a nightmare. Today? His body was fighting back.

“I need a break,” he muttered.

“A break?” Daniel mocked. “You got yourself into this. Now you see it through. People love it. And honestly…” He tapped Kevin’s shoulder. “This is the most extreme dirty bulk ever. Maybe it’ll even make you stronger.”

Kevin stared at the burgers. “Or just fat.”

“Quitting and looking like a loser isn’t an option.”

Kevin clenched his fists – well, as much as he could with two burgers in hand. His mind screamed to stop. But deep down, another thought stirred: What if I actually do this?

The camera started rolling.

He took a deep breath, ripped his mouth open, and bit angrily into the first burger. The taste of grease and salt hit him as Daniel grinned in satisfaction.
