what's the maximum speed/altitude chimera teto can fly at?

Chimera's wings are built for passive soaring akin to eagles, so their main method of flying is soaring, with flapping not done often as it costs a lot of energy due to the sheer size of their wings. Their high speed while flying is usually a steady 30-40mph, but can be up to double that speed during a dive, as most birds do!

As for altitude, they're big creatures so they can't fly as high as the birds they share their wing types with due to the fact they're simply just much larger than an eagle or vulture, so they'd likely have a limit of about 12,000 feet/2 miles above sea level before the thinner air makes them more prone to exhaustion with each wing beat simply due to having bigger lungs and needing more oxygen to fill em.

Chimera aren't notably high flyers though due to the aforementioned!
