Questions for a milSO

1. What branch of service is your boyfriend/husband in? Marines

2. How long have you been with him?  almost 15 months

3. Did you meet him before or after he joined? before

4. Hardest part of being a military girlfriend/wife?  not getting to hear his voice everyday...

5. When will you get to see your military man? i honestly dont know yet </3 

6. Do you two have a good, stable relationship?  we suffered a breaking point during our relationship because of the distance, however we worked through our problems and were now stronger than ever.

7. Has your boyfriend/husband ever been deployed?  not yet, he has to go through MCT and the other corps training first...

8. If so, how many times and where?  none yet.

9. During deployments do you struggle with being happy? he's not deployed yet, but i am happy because i know he's doing the Corps for us. for our future. how could you be sad when a man will step up like that?

10. Has your relationship ever ended due to distance? 

yes, while he was at boot camp, i broke up with him... i thought it was the right thing and it didn't help that people i thought were my close friends did nothing but feed me lies. but when he came back he showed me he loved me,and we had the best 9 days together<3 

11. Uniform or civilian clothes?  

i dont really care,its not about clothes its about who's in them. 

12. Has he given you his dog tags to wear? not yet, he promised to order me some though :)

13. Do you enjoy dating a man in the military?  not always, im proud of him. im a proud girlfriend, but i know he's had this planned out for us since we started dating. he knew i was strong enough to wait for him, he knows i love him and will wait for him <3 

14. Ever wished you had met someone who wasn’t military?  no, its made me grow up alot. yes i do wish sometimes that he wasn't in the military, but i remember, marine or civilian, i would love him either way in every way

15. Do you cherish time more with him since he leaves so much?

definitely!!!! i catch myself closing my eyes or staring into his just soaking in the bittersweet moments <3 

16. Is your man trustworthy when it comes to being faithful? yes, Semper Fi <3 

17. Has he ever surprised you with homecomings?  not yet...i hope soon though<3 

18. Real men wear combat boots?

a real man is different definition to every girl

19. Are you in love with your military man?

yes! 100% yes! 

20. If you could say one thing to him right now, what would it be?

ugh baby, why'd you have to leave today?! i miss you to dang much already, you better keep your promise and return safely and when i leave next summer for Navy you better write everyday. cause i wrote you everyday for 3months!!! lol i love you honeybee, forever and always. come back to my arms soon. a girl cant go to long with her heart so far away <3
