How to make a sweatshirt in Canva It is super simple to design and print a sweatshirt in Canva! The first step is to start a free account on Canva.com. Once you have that, simply search for “sweatshirt” and you can get the proper templates to get started with your graphic design. I often use a template to get started and drastically edit the design or layout of that sweatshirt or t-shirt from there. Once done with the design of your sweatshirt, you can choose, “print” and then you get a cool mock-up of how your design will look on a real person wearing YOUR sweatshirt design! Neat. Get approved. FlightCheck 2022. Let's get started. The heart of FlightCheck are the Ground Controls. There are preflight presets or profiles already there for you to get started very quickly. Many will just use those. However, the more experienced preflight operators and certainly the prepress experts out there will customise the Ground Controls and save different sets for their workflow or workflows. You'll also be able to share these with other people in your workflow or other graphic design colleagues. Very handy. Preflighting a page layout and we support many different file formats. Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, QuarkXPress, and even PDF files of any sort like Canva PDFs or a PDF from Word or CorelDRAW. It's very easy to preflight just drag and drop your files either multiple files on the FlightCheck icon. Very good. The next feature which we cover in detail in many other videos is the DTP document Preview. Look at that something that that's been asked for for years from preflighters, the ability to check a Quark file or an InDesign file or a PDF file or an Illustrator job and get a preview so you can see where the preflight problems. The new FlightCheck various preflight modes, two main ones, you'll find them in the upper left hand corner. There you can switch between the two pre flight modes, Inventory and the Preflight Results mode. It is for you to decide what works best for you. I kind of use both. The preflight reports are very handy to share information with other people in the workflow but heres a new feature I really love in FlightCheck. It's actually a combination of the Preview and finding the problem and then navigates in the preview window to show you where the problem actually is. But now you can actually also edit for instance this InDesign file and edit the problem in InDesign but it opens the file InDesign for you it actually takes you right to the exact page and selects the exact problem where the problem is. Absolutely amazing. Same thing with PDF files, we can pinpoint a problem and select "edit in Acrobat." So now you can actually edit your PDFs and even with Enfocus PitStop right through FlightCheck. Now that is powerful and very handy. The package feature is one of the most popular features in FlightCheck for years. It'll gather all your fonts and images together and include them in a separate folder even compressing it. It's a FlightCheck approved folder, or not. And is very handy for archiving but also for delivery to the printer or publisher wherever the next person in the workflow is. Part of the package feature now includes a new IDML creation option. Comment réparer un document InDesign corrompu - Interview de Jacques Dubuc Bonjour, c'est Jacques Dubuc. Donc je travaille chez Verdi Voyages ou je suis donc graphiste designer graphique. Donc on édite des catalogues. Bien évidemment, on a un site web et des catalogues avec le design. Et voilà ce qui m'est arrivé. Donc après avoir terminé une des brochures qui allait donc partir chez l'imprimeur, j'ai ouvert le fichier InDesign. J'ai lancé un PDF pour contrôle des pages d'intro. Et là, bon, ça s'est planté. Rien de dramatique, ça se plante toujours fréquemment. J'ai quitté InDesign, relancez InDesign. Ça va être dit que le fichier a été endommagé et donc j'ai cliqué sur Réparer comme ça se produit. Et là, il me dit que le fichier a été transféré sur les serveurs. Adobe SA m'a dit au bout d'un moment désolé, on ne peut pas réparer votre fichier. Le problème c'est que vous en avez pas de double. Que le fichier était terminé. Ce cas, une grosse brochure peut faire 90 pages. Donc j'ai commencé à paniquer. J'avais fait une mise à jour de InDesign, je l'ai supprimé, j'ai réinstallé la version précédente. Rien n'a changé. Après, j'ai appelé le tchat d'Adobe. Je suis tombé sur. J'ai passé à peu près 1 h avec le Tchad et l'on me disait de faire à peu près ce que j'avais déjà fait, c'est à dire downgrader InDesign et essayer. Bon, après m'ont dit Bon bah on va le déluge sur nos serveurs et on va voir ce qu'on peut faire. On vous donnera une réponse sous 20 4 h. Je me suis fait à peu près un peu d'illusion sur leur capacité ou le temps qui est consacré à ce doc. Et j'ai commencé à chercher sur le web s'il y avait d'autres solutions. J'ai rien trouvé de très probant et en j'ai navigué de forum en forums de plus en plus désespéré et je tombe sur un forum. Je ne me souviens plus si c'était américain ou anglais et ou un gars disait Ah mais il y a cette boîte Max Ware et dessert mal Life Documents Sauver la vie et je me suis dit Qu'est ce que je fais voir? Après, je me suis souvenu qu'effectivement dans le passé, c'est une boite qui fait des plugins. Pourquoi pouvoir? Xpress InDesign? Donc j'étais en confiance. Je me suis dit que c'était pas un truc bizarre et donc toute façon on ne prenait pas grand risque. Donc la société demande un forfait de 50 € pour examiner le fichier InDesign. Et après le forum, on tire le prix de la rue Covering of the fight. Le prix dépend du nom de Mega. Du fichier. Moi c'est un fichier de 100 mega. C'était 100 100 € en plus. J'ai envoyé mon fichier à peu près. Je ne sais pas vous dire. Une demi heure après, j'ai reçu un mail de David ou le président de cette entreprise et qui m'a envoyé un pdf base def de mon document. J'ai pu voir qu'il avait récupéré je ne sais pas. À 95 99 du fichier, on a payé les 100 € demandés et bien évidemment on a reçu le fichier dans la foulée et j'ai pu terminer le fichier et faire les ultimes corrections et l'envoyer chez l'imprimeur. Voilà donc moi je dis pour toutes les personnes qui ont un problème avec un fichier InDesign endommagé, ça peut arriver. Faites leur confiance. Voilà. Merci beaucoup des historiens. La grande mise en page InDesign de Jacques, après un mois de travail, est devenue corrompue. Le fichier .indd s'est écrasé un jour et ne s'est jamais rouvert. Il a essayé de réparer avec Adobe, même avec leur équipe de support, mais rien n'a fonctionné. Heureusement, ils ont également trouvé Markzware. Jacques was "unfortunately" a customer of Markzware with a bad or corrupt InDesign file. The good thing is, we fixed it! But Jacques maybe first an introduction, who you are and what you do. Jacques DUBUC 0:17 So I'm a graphic designer. With a travel company called Verdie Voyages in France. We are making exotic trips around the world and so we have a website and we do a lot of printed materials, a lot of brochures, which we do in Adobe InDesign. Of course. And about two weeks ago we had just finished one of four brochures and the morning, just open my InDesign file do a PDF for the manager so that we will check the introduction to be sure everything is ok. And then InDesign crashed, nothing to worry. So I just re-startInDesign. Okay, it says my InDesign file is damaged, nothing to worry, it happens. So I click OK. On the morning I've done an upgrade of InDesign CreativeCloud on the new MacBook, not nothing worked and then it says oh we are about to treat your InDesign page layout file on our servers, Click Ok. Ok. And then it says oops, we cannot repair it. You will have to redo the project! David Dilling 2:03 Was it also on a Monday morning? Jacques DUBUC 2:05 On the Monday morning? Exactly! So what did I do? I just down-graded InDesign 2022. To my last version. We done the process. Exact same thing to open a chat with the technical services people of Adobe and just says the same just downgrade try again and nothing happens. So they tell they told me to put my InDesign document my damaged design file on CreativeCloud and on the cloud when I don't and they said oh we will check it we will have a fast answer about 24 hours to check the file. So I was afraid that they didn't check because Adobe, I think has millions of customers. I don't think our job will be the priority. So I began to search other solutions. So I've looked into the web about solutions for fixing the major corrupted InDesign problems and I was browsing different industry forums for InDesign, like Reddit and Adobe's own forums. Mostly every person say the same things we can check but nothing. And then I saw a post of a guy who said Oh stop it. If you have this kind of problem you can check Markzware ! He saved my life! I remember your company because in the past I was working with QuarkXPress. You already published plugins to Convert InDesign to Quark back then and now Quark to InDeisgn. How to remove a hyperlink in InDesign This is how you remove a hyperlink from an Adobe InDesign file: 1) Select the hyperlink text or image. 2) Right-Click the mouse and select, “Edit Hyperlink” 3) Set the “Character Style” to NONE. 4) The hyperlink and blue, underlined text is all removed! You would think you could go up to the InDesign menu item, Window, then under Interactive, open the Hyperlinks control panel and remove the hyperlink there. You basically can, but it does not remove the “style” that was then set of the blue underlined text and what have. That is why I use the Riga-Click, Edit Hyperlink method! Quark, Illustrator and PDF to InDesign, an in-depth customer review on Markzware OmniMarkz. Author and DTP layout user, Robert Danelio, had years of legacy QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator and PDF files. For new projects and businesses, he needed access to these old documents. InDesign missing iCloud files Missing images in InDesign is always a problem. That is what preflight is for, right? Well what happens when a missing image, really isn’t missing, just up in cloud storage? Well, it is a workflow stopper. Forst of all, the messages in InDesign do not help you. Apple macOS is also not very intuitive in this case, as you have to notice the very small iCloud icon to get an inkling of an idea that the files is NOT on your local drive anymore, but upload to iCloud storage to keep your hard drive free for use. In this video we show you the problem, how to manually fix it and hopefully Adobe and Apple can work together to make a more workflow enabled possibility for this.
