How does trauma play a significant role in (family) relationships?
Marlyssa Guest Trauma does play a significant role in family relationships. Many parents unknowingly pass down their trauma to their children or cause a new trauma from their children because of their actions. In the video excerpt the father has the idea that he doesn't have to like his child because he is the provider. There is a chance that this is what he was grew up to believe watching his father growing up. In a attempt to push these ideals on his son he has opened up a new trauma for son. This has now caused a effect on their father son relationship. Being that the father doesn't care for the mental and emotional part of parenting his son and instead is only their physically, negatively effecting the child.

How Women View Relationships
Marlyssa Guest
This snippet if a look intl how men see relationships versus how a women see relationships. Women are more realistic and care about actions louder than words. As men tend to cling onto things such as “honesty” and “not lying”. Women want to be treated equally as men treat their buddies. Black women in specific are tired of getting the back lash after a long day when their spouses were at work laughing like things are fine. Women want to be appreciated more because they are worth more.
