Film School starting May 31st at Giant Robot gallery in LA will be an exhibition of traditional art all celebrating film. This is 1/5 of my pieces which will be amongst many outstanding artists! I know this was asked before but you didn't give a direct answer, but is art commissions something you are interested in at all? Even if it was expensive I feel like it'd be well worth the money coming from you!

Sorry I didn’t give a direct answer before. Yes, I will accept some commissions later on after I complete the pre-orders :D For me care is more of a concern than cost/profit- I’d like to make sure I will have the time to do a good job on custom commissions before accepting any.

Book update:

I have increased the dimensions of Love Scenario to 9 x 12, and updated it's spine to be a glue-bound square one instead of stapled so it can accommodate more pages and be sturdier :D

To clear up any potential confusion about pricing: the upgrades and page increases up until printing come at no additional cost. Thank you!

Hi, I wanted to say thanks for pinning the pre-orders post for your books. I loved the gay animals brunch comic, but I always wished I could see all the textures and details better. I'm glad I didn't miss the pre-order window. Excited to look at your detailed art up close!

will the love scenario books ever have the option for hardcover/something a little sturdier than cardstock? i’m very interested but i hesitate buying art books i might bend on accident (>.<;)

Yes, sure! Especially if pre-orders go better than expected, I may consider switching the books to hardcover. Larger order numbers will enable lower overhead production costs.

For now, the books primarily act as a way for people to support the creation of more art in the future. The last animation I made was funded from book sales at a comic con :D

Do you have any plans for future works to sell? Whether it be books, prints, clothing, figurines etc.? (I'm curious if you would ever be open to be commissions as well, but I totally understand if it seems like it'd be stressful to do.)

You are one of my favorite artists and I would love to buy future things from you if you are planning to do so!

QUESTION ABOUT PREORDERS...

In the future will the same books have more pages? I am wondering since I am afraid of spending money on something that won't have the full content...

I still want to support though! I just do not have alot of money to spend right now.

Hello, the pre-order books will contain the full content of the final books. I will post more information and previews later on in the month.

There will be a little bit of exclusive content in the books, but the majority will always be available for free.

Will the preorders be a one time thing or will we be able to buy the books at another time in the future 👀? Im hoping to scrap together enough to get them before the month ends 🤞, but in the case i dont im wondering if there will be another chance to nab them!
