I'm sure the creators of SNW made Vulcans kiss on the mouth because they wanted it to be sexy.

But you can't convince me it wouldn't have been sexy as all hell to see Spock and T'Pring do this.

Maybe it's the alienfucker in me but I think it would have been hotter.

Baby Kirk in SNW

For all of the gimmick episodes in SNW I’m surprised there hasn’t been one where one (or more) of the crew members get inexplicably turned into a baby version of themselves.

My very biased vote would be to turn Sam Kirk into a toddler.

SNW loves any excuse to have Jim be on the enterprise and this episode would be perfect for that

And if Paul Wesley’s Jim looks their dad, how does that change the way little Sam sees him?

Little Sam, scared and confused sees Jim and immediately thinks he’s George. And is already a little jealous that his baby brother is now bigger than him.

Poor Jim, with a strange semi-antagonistic relationship with his older brother all of sudden feeling very very responsible for him as a child.

This could also tie into the references they’ve made to Carol Marcus in SNW. Like this episode is what proves to Jim that he is NOT ready to be a father yet.

Outside of the Kirk brothers I also want to see the rest of the cast deal with little Sam.

Like the entire crew is trying to be cool and normal, but also can’t stop gossiping about how little Sam doesn’t have mustache.

Ortegas would definitely make some comment about how she thought he was born with it.

La’an and Una trying to decide if they need to baby proof the enterprise. Except neither of them have any idea what baby proofing is appropriate for the age little Sam has been turned into.

M’Benga being the only one with real parenting experience so he’s constantly trying to fix whatever problems the crew causes with little Sam.

Little Sam would be sooo amazed by Spock. Pure baby scientific wonder.

And of course Spock is entirely perturbed about how to handle his work frenemy being a toddler that constantly wants his attention.

And yet Spock can’t help but be kinda fond of little Sam, who as a toddler is much more upfront about what he needs compared to adult humans.

In my heart Spock is unnerved by children but also children love him.

Someone, probably Ortegas or Uhura keeps taking pictures of little Sam for blackmail once this is fixed.

This episode is a great opportunity for Pike, Mr. Adopting every stray in sight, to make all of the senior officers have dinner in his quarters for ‘family dinner’ with Sam.

Except Sam would definitely not understanding Pike because there’s no way the workaholic Kirk’s ever had time to regularly sit out and eat together the way Pike is trying to do.

Sam is such a fun, and underutilized character in SNW so I feel like this sort of episode would be great for making him closer to the main crew

Little Spock, Little Una, and Little La’an are also ideas I’ve thrown around but I thing they’d be too angsty and tbh I just don’t trust SNW to write me any nuanced takes on what it means to be a young half Vulcan or a young Illyrian.

"Your love language is what you were deprived of as a child" actually no you're allowed to want, prefer and like things without everything tracing back to some dormant unprocessed trauma. You can just say you want to bounce on it without having to explain how as a child you always wanted - but never got - a trampoline.
