Cooking makes a great idea for Isekai fantasy worlds!

Just started watching Delicious in Dungeon (only a couple episodes in) and it made me think of fantasy au of the same premise. Because Isabelle would absolutely be the weirdo that is fascinated by monsters and is excited at the prospect of learning about them and eating them. Much to the rest of the partys horror.

Ace: Why would you go after that thing!?

Isabelle: Getting Basilisk eggs so we can have omelets.

Isabelle: If it weren't for the being devoured part, being wrapped in vines by that carnivorous plant looked comforting.

Deuce: It wasn't.

I listened to Lydia’s song of villain Dolores. And I could only think. Of how Aqila was interacting in the HoM and everyone kept reminding her of Aladdin’s story. Always ending up with the princess. Family generation of the Horglas. And she is in pure stress because this was a norm. She didn’t want her life planned out already.

But imagine the stress created her to blot, but also. Found a way to severe connections to her original counterpart. Aka. Splitting herself from the story and possibly. Rewatching it to save herself from a routine.

And Jasir and Mona are the only ones who can fix Aqila before she destroys their stories into nothing left. It’s like the EAH fabricated story about if a story isn’t made. They go poof. No one is poofing. But they are losing their powers connected to their counterparts. Minus Aqila’s since her magic resides with truth. She still has the ability to know someone is lying straight to her face.
