Alien (Final Product)
Colouring the alien required more thinking than usual because of the oily pattern that their skin has. I coloured the whole body grey and shaded and then I just mixed a bunch of colours together and used the swirl tool on Procreate to give it the pattern on oil and stretched it so it covered the illustration and then overlayed it so it fitted the form. The rainbow pattern makes the character design stand out and if it had just one skin tone it would look similar to a lot of other aliens. Even though, the character is colourful it doesn't make the alien look any less threating.

Cogman (Transformers)
Cogman is a character from the 2017 film 'Transformers: Last Knight' he is a Transformer butler for Anthony Hopkin's character Sir Edmund Burton.
The film reveals that Transformers have been present on Earth for centuries. It opens with a flashback to the Middle Ages, where King Arthur and his knights receive help from a group of Transformers led by a Cybertronian knight named Dragonstorm. Merlin, the wizard, is given a staff of immense power by the Transformers to help Arthur win a battle.
In the present day, Earth is in chaos as the government hunts Transformers. Optimus Prime, having left Earth to find his creator, meets Quintessa, a powerful alien who claims to be the creator of Cybertronians. She corrupts Optimus, turning him into Nemesis Prime, and sends him back to Earth to retrieve Merlin’s ancient staff—an object that can restore Cybertron by draining Earth’s energy.
Meanwhile, Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) is in hiding for helping Autobots. He encounters an old Transformer knight who gives him a mysterious talisman. He is later brought to Sir Edmund Burton (Anthony Hopkins), a historian who reveals the Transformers' deep connection to Earth's history. Burton also recruits Viviane Wembly (Laura Haddock), an Oxford professor, as she is the last descendant of Merlin and the only one who can wield the staff.
As factions clash over the staff, Optimus returns under Quintessa’s control and battles Bumblebee. However, Bumblebee’s voice—restored for the first time—snaps Optimus out of his trance. The Autobots, Cade, and the military join forces to stop Quintessa and her Decepticons from using the staff to destroy Earth.
The final battle takes place in Stonehenge, where Cybertron is beginning to merge with Earth. The heroes manage to retrieve the staff and defeat Quintessa. Optimus and the Autobots then vow to rebuild Cybertron while also protecting Earth.
In a post-credits scene, Quintessa, disguised as a human, warns that Unicron—Earth's true form—is awakening, setting up potential future conflicts.
The movie attempts to expand the Transformers mythology, blending historical and sci-fi elements, but was met with mixed reviews for its convoluted plot.
The design of Cogman stands out because unlike the rest of the Transformers he is human-sized and has anatomy very similar to a humans. I don't really like this design choice as part of what makes Transformers cool is their giant size and designs of car parts formed together to make something humanoid but this character doesn't have that so he stands out but not in a good way.

AX-10N (Axion) Final Product
I illustrated the character in my sketch book but I then coloured it in digitally and added more design aspects like scratches and shine on the metal. I'm really pleased with the final outcome and I think I achieved the look of a battle-ready robot.

Robot (Invincible)
Robot is a side character in Image Comic's Invincible series and its animated adaptation. Invincibles' first issue came out in 2003 and was written by Robert Kirkman who also wrote The Walking Dead which was also published by his company Image Comics. The series is set in a super-hero world but one a lot more violent than that of Marvel or DC. The protagonist is Mark Grayson and his father is the world's strongest superhero Omni-Man, who at first seems to be a rip-off of Superman but the planet he comes from ,Viltrum, actually sent Omni-Man there to force Earth to be apart of the Viltrum Empire and kill anyone who opposes, once his son finds this out they clash. When Omni-Man slaughters the only people who could get in his way, The Guardians of the Globe, new heroes replace them and Robot is one of them. Both the name and design are simplistic, he's made out of one colour and doesn't feature any intricacies in his suit but he fits well into the universe and the humanoid build works well as research as my robots look very similar.

Mazinger Z
Mazinger Z was the first of many in the mecha anime genre. It was publish in the weekly Shonen Jump Magazine in 1972 to 1973 and then Toei Animation created a anime series that ran in 1972 to 1974. The mech is very similar to that of Voltron and Gundam but although Mazinger Z sparked the franchise it is no doubt that its successors are way more popular.

Kunio Okawara (Japanese Animator)
Kunio Okawara is the designer for the Mobile Suits for the Mobile Suit Gundam anime. He was one of the pioneers in mecha design for anime and established mecha design as a dedicated role within the anime industry.
Kunio Okawara is credited as the first official "mechanical designer" in anime history. His designs influenced generations of mecha anime, video games, and even real-world robotics. His detailed yet functional aesthetic helped shape the genre’s realism, moving away from the "super robot" style of the 1970s into the more grounded real robot genre.
Even in his later years, Okawara continues to inspire new mecha designers and remains one of the most respected figures in the industry. His influence can be seen not only in anime but also in model kits (Gunpla), video games, and even industrial design.

Mobile Suit Gundam
Mobile Suit Gundam is a classic mecha anime series set in the Universal Century (UC) timeline, primarily focused on the conflict between the Earth Federation and the space colony-based Zeon forces.
