If you're a creator and you needed to hear this today:

You have no idea how many people lurk on your work. No idea how many times people go back to revisit your work. How big they smile when they simply think about your work. How fast their heart beats, how excited they get when they see that you posted something.

People are shy with their feedback. Sometimes it’s because they’re simply shy. Other times it’s because they assume you already know how great and talented you are. Could be both.

My point is, even if you barely have any likes or reblogs, don’t get discouraged. You have a lot of silent fans, but they are still your fans. Keep on creating. Because there is always someone out there who will love what you have made.

“U-um… Well, you see, I’m not sure, but…”

Well, darn it. K’s coverup was starting to break down. And it looked like this girl wasn’t leaving without answers. Well, what else could she say?

K pulled her hat over her eyes and braced herself to be tossed out the ship’s window. “Fine. You want to know what I’m looking for? They’re called time pieces, and they’re fuel for my ship. We can’t go anywhere without them. I don’t know what you came here for, but if you’re after my time pieces, I can’t give them to you. People can do really dangerous things with them if they find out what they can do. I’m sorry.”

"Er..."

Wrest shifted a little. Stealing from a kid was bad, but admitting to attempted theft would be even worse.

"I just wanted to check out an alien spaceship. It's..."

She looked around at how soft this place was. It looked to her more like a daycare center than a vehicle from beyond the stars.

"...really different than I would've expected," she admitted, truthfully.

This was just getting awkward at this point. She looked down at Earth, and wondered what her next step should be.

"I mean, I'm good at finding and procuring valuable things. Maybe I could... help you on your way?"

While these Time Pieces were intriguing, and probably worth quite a bit, she conceded that she wouldn't need them, as painful as that thought was. Maybe they exploded or something for all she knew. Yeah... that possibility put a damper on her greed.

Wrest had regretted missing the opportunity to burglarize aliens not just once, but twice when she could have figured something out. She wasn’t about to miss this new opportunity.

It took some doing, but she made it onto this spacecraft. She wondered what kinds of alien tech she could loot as she carefully stepped into what she presumed was the main deck.
