Ah, sorry- I'm sorta new to the tumblr thing and I just saw people warning others about proshippers (mostly krattcesters) and thought to mention it, but you do raise a fair point!

It's all good! Again, I'm so chill about a lot that it's fine. It gives me good reason to explain those points though so thank you for bringing it up and giving me that outlet.

Sooo, the bribriiii person has a reblog where they say "K*ll all Kr*ttcest shippers" (in response to someone asking littlecritterelli if an art piece they made was kr*ttcest) so they don't ship that... but they've rebloggued fanart of the columbine shooters, which I think is WAY worse so you should probably block them anyways.

Ok yeah that is uncomfortable.... I don't understand that one. Glorifying actual real life shooters isn't something i want to associate with. There's a difference between harmless fun and glorifying a massacre. I don't personally feel comfortable with that so I'll just not interact with them.

guys.... y'all need to learn fandom history. Proship doesn't mean "i condone this shit in real life" it means you are cool with people doing their own thing without judgement. THAT'S IT. Proship can mean you enjoy taboo subjects but it also means you aren't going to police other people in fandom,m even if you don't like what the other person enjoys.

Like.... I'm not going to judge someone for shipping what they want so long as I, personally, don't have to see it or participate in it. It's like religion- y'all can believe whatever you want, so long as you're not shoving it down my throat or going out of your way to hurt real life people by exposing them to it or making them participate in it unwillingly.

It's also not a moral failure, by the way, to just let people exist without trying to police them. No matter what christian-driven moral doctrine that modern fandom preaches right now, someone shipping a thing you don't like, or a thing that you think is yucky, isn't going to destroy you for simply existing and it's not your job to try and "fix" the person because they happen to enjoy weird topics or things you feel yucked out by.

Yes this includes all taboo subjects. This is why we tag- so it's easy to avoid. you HAVE to curate your own fandom experience. that's why block buttons exist. Genuinely calling someone out for liking a thing you don't like makes you look like those people who would rat out the gay folks to the cops because they thought it was gross. Like.... this is fandom. You can take it easy, you can relax. It's OK. You don't need to be on the crusade of shunning people. You can block them, you can turn the other way, you can go about your business.

You're not going to hell, I promise you, for letting a person play in a sandbox.

Usually in this particular fandom when I hear "THEY'RE A PROSHIPPER!!!" it means someone is a krattcest shipper and I don't want to touch that with a ten foot pole but I'm also not going to shame or shun someone for enjoying what they enjoy on their own time in fantasyland. Unless the shippers are going out of their way to confront the bros and expose them to this, and try to make it actually happen, it's harmless.

I guarantee these old men don't even know what AO3 and Tumblr even ARE and if they miraculously do and somehow they managed to see that kind of content, they probably go, ok that's weird and move on with their lives because ultimately someone's odd fantasy doesn't affect them and their daily lives AT ALL.

Do you know how many normal, well-adjusted people are writing saucy fanfics about real life famous people every day? It's stupidly common and it's been happening since the dawn of writing.

Humans are going to make up stories and enjoy weird shit. That's just human nature- and liking morally questionable or even bad stuff in fantasy form isn't a reflection of your morality and isn't a thing defining if you are a good person or not. It also isn't proof someone would do or enjoy it in real life! To put it like this- every murder mystery writer would be in prison for murder on this logic, and every person who enjoys a murder mystery must surely want to murder. Like do you see how silly that sounds?

Whether you participate in subjects you find yucky is entirely up to YOU, but it sure as hell is easier and kinder to let people live their lives in peace without the crusade against them, and just let them be in their little sandbox while you're in a different sandbox.

I was thinking what would have happened if both one horned equdores had a child, i like to think that...it'll be a deformity, if a one horned and the normal two horned equdore had a child, the two horned genes will surpass, and give come out as unaffected babies...HOWEVER...two one-horneds will have a child with a horn growth problem, the two horn gene is still there, but its not as dominant with the deformity one horn gene...

who do people write and draw stuff so dramatic for this fandom? it's a kid show why does everyone have to be weird?

Well, you don't have to interact with parts of a fandom you don't particularly like, and that's why modern fandom is cool. It's pretty easy to just block the stuff you don't want to see. If the drama is something you're not into, you can just avoid it! And if you mean on AO3, there's lots of tags you can deliberately steer away from. It's very easy to curate what you want to see and how you interact with a fandom these days.

I see people often trying to like..... rally against random creators for some reason? Usually because they don't like what kind of content the creator makes but you don't have to go looking for the stuff you don't like, you can easily just do other things, you know?

I LOVE writing dramatic stuff and I've had people tell me that it's weird or bad but that means the content isn't for them. *shrug* that's it! So like... just a pleasant reminder, if you don't like parts of a fandom you can look at other things. There's nothing wrong with that, but there is something rather strange about people trying to single out a specific person or a group of people just because they make things you don't really enjoy. It's SO much easier to just block the person or tag or whatever and move on with your life. Great way to find out what you don't enjoy and then... move on. It doesn't need to be a crusade.

Not sure why you came to me to ask this unless you genuinely wanted to know why I specifically write and draw really dramatic stuff (because I do) but if it was to gain support in bashing the drama you have come to ythe wrong person. I don't bash anyone unless they are deliberately going to people to hurt them. Fandom ain't about that- and writing drama or whatever isn't going to personally attack you just because you personally find it weird.

Cause I'm going to be real..... It's a waste of your time to harass another person just because you don't like what content they make. Do something else- Find a different hobby please. It'll make you feel so much better than a crusade, I promise.

And I'm not trying to insult you, or say your opinions are wrong. You're allowed to feel how you like, but you don't need to make it anyone else's business but your own, you know? Please leave people in peace. Everyone's just here creating for the sake of creating. There doesn't have to be a moral judgement based on this stuff. It's a tv show about magically turning into animals to understand them. It does NOT have to be that deep.

Hai, Aspie here and I did my boy Connor in the Fae Courtship AU as a fledgling fae~

Since he was snatched up by the bros as a baby and being neurodivergent (ASD) he took to faehood quite quickly and easily, taking on the forms of stag, wolf and moth because he spent so much time around the brothers as he grew up~
